Followed the directions and pre-drilled using 1/8 bit. Screw broke. Tried again. Broke. Again. Broke. Bought my own screws, same size. Went back and placed brackets to conceal the damaged holes. Pre-drilled again and installed using my own screws. I'm really disappointed in this product. For this insanely overpriced product, the screws SHOULD NOT melt like butter. Fix your stuff Taylor Made Products. Next time, I'll be trying a different brand.

Putting the fenders on before we dock was always an issue & a bit of a pain. This saves so much time. The cleats were sharing space with the dock line & the fenders. This freed up space giving the fenders their own dedicated spot. I was concerned about them falling off while I was away, but each weekend I go back they are still attached.

I installed these on my boat in about 2 hours. I did not use the supplied screws, but went with machine screws with nylon lock nuts and a metal plate backer. You have to be able to access behind the plate which may not be possible on some boats. They work great and you can have your bumpers ready to go in seconds. They allow your cleats to be used solely for tying off and makes docking a breeze.

pricey but you only have to buy them one time. I love these because you dont have to worry about your fenders blowing off the boat.

Quality is great, and they are nice. But I wouldn't recommend using while boat is moving. They will pop out... Expensive too!

I purchased these for my 23ft open bow runabout. I didn't have great options for tying on three bumpers when coming to the dock. With these I have the bumpers pre-tied in the clips and my wife can drop them in place extremely quick. They are not cheap but will last for a long as the boat is usable.
