T-Cut has been used for cleaning and restoring the original colour back to cars since 1954.
T-Cut has been passed down through generations of families to keep their car paintwork in perfect condition. The magic of T-Cut has been passed on through the generations and is a byword for the action of restoration and scratch removal. Originally on the retail shelf in a glass bottle, it was soon to be replaced by our iconic tin. Once in a tin, T-Cut was only available for purchase in 5-litre units but an increase in demand soon saw it released to the retail environment in 300ml and 500ml tins. Towards the end of the 20th Century, T-Cut was transferred into the more user-friendly plastic bottles, which stayed up until early 2017 when the original tin packaging was reintroduced.
T-Cut Original was initially a factual title that is often confused. When first coined; ‘Original’ meant the colour of the product, not an original or unique product. Today we use ’The Original Restorer’ to signify the original product, the first and the best; but also to differentiate between the original product and the new Rapid Scratch Remover.
Not Just For Cars!
While T-Cut is most famous for its use on cars, motorcycles and vans, the uses of T-Cut stretch much further than the automotive world. In fact, there are so many uses that even we don’t know about them all, and are often contacted by consumers who have found a new and inventive way of using this fabled product.
For example, professional antique restorers swear by T-Cut for cleaning furniture, brightening lacquered items and restoring metals such as Copper, Steel, Nickel and Silver. T-Cut can be used to restore uPVC when it has dulled due to sun damage and if used appropriately it can take scratches out of most painted surfaces. T-Cut restores the colour and removes scratches from household appliances such as fridges, cookers and dishwashers; additionally, it removes scratches and restores the colour in plastic and ceramic baths, revitalising the tiles to their original colour.
T-Cut can be used on painted radiators, skirting boards and on sun-bleached window ledges; as well as being used in the Marine industry to clean boats, gel coats, and especially cleaning water lines from saltwater. One of the most recent uses for T-Cut was revealed when we were contacted by one of the largest restorers of pianos in the UK.

What does T-Cut do to your car?
T-Cut is a car scratch remover that restores paint finish by stripping the top coat of your paintwork and removing light surface scratches, stains or scuffs. Your car paintwork is then restored to its original condition.
Can T-Cut remove excess lacquer?
Lacquer overspray can easily be removed with the Original cutting compound.
Can T-Cut remove spray paint?
A small amount of T-Cut should be able to remove spray paint from your car paintwork.
How do I apply T-Cut?
Try to keep T-Cut off rubber parts around windows and plastics. If you do get some on, then wipe it off before it dries or else it will leave light marks that will be a little more difficult to remove.
Does T-Cut remove deep scratches?
T-Cut is only suitable for removing shallow, surface scratches from a car.

Very disappointed on how efficient it is. It was not really efficient removing minor scratches but rather leaves more swirling marks if you are not careful.

Worked amazingly. My husband scratched the front panel of our car pulling out of the garage. Scratches looked fairly deep. Followed directions and car looks 100% better!! Buy it!!

This is the original product which is much better than anything else out there but I removed a star because the cheeky company charged shipping for us to receive even though shipping said free and under prime umbrella. can not b bothed to contact the seller for $15 shipping but just b warned they say free shipping it’s a lie once it arrives parcel not released till you pay so buyer beware !!

Great product for removing ingrained road film.I have used this all my life and swear by its great use. It’s not a polish so don’t expect a shine. You have to wax your car after doing this. It will restore the colour to your car.
