Bought these as replacement springs to secure the lid on my humane cat Tomahawk drop trap. These were a lot cheaper then buying from the website were they have replacement parts for my feral cat trap.

Bought these for an 40lb escape artist dog. I found the hoop side of the latch to be very difficult to attach to the crate - doable, but difficult. Of the three I used, all three ended up breaking after a month of daily usage. Each broke on the hook side of the latch. I may have stretched them too tight, but not outside the realm of reasonable.Bottom line: the latches do work, as they are intended. They’ll keep metal crate doors closed; They do what they are supposed to. They are really difficult to attach to the crate and if you stretch them too tight (and use them daily), they will break.
