This tie has a cheap and shiny look to it. It's more suited to casual wear, which is fine for me but may not meet everyone's expectations. It does show it in the listing pic but I must note that this pattern is just a small block that is repeated awkwardly and abruptly rather than your typical smooth-flowing tie pattern. The base is white and then there is a ombre 'spilled ink' look on it. It's certainly a unique and whimsical tie, which is what caught my attention, I love octopus stuff.

This is a super fun tie!! the print is sure to get a lot of smiles. The tie is very soft and smooth silk. It fits and ties well 10/10

If you must wear a tie, why not make it a duck tie? The print is small enough that from far away, it looks like a interesting green and yellow tie, bright and bold. Up close, the rows upon rows of ducks just brings a smile to one's face. The quality of the tie seems to be pretty good, with vibrant ducks and smooth seams.

This isn't the best tie, but an okay price I guess. The images on the tie itself are actually as blurry as the photos in the listing -- which isn't great at all (I thought it would be clearer). The bigger issue is that the back isn't well stitched and after tying one knot, you can see it separated where you pull it tight already. It also feels pretty cheap too, and from a distance you really can't see that it is a winter tie because the images are not well defined. We wouldn't recommend it.

Thus a a really cute tie. I bought it to wear on a cruise. Our family loves to hide duck on cruises and this year we are planning a “duck night” when we all wear clothing with rubber ducks on it. The tie is reasonably well made with no curl even right out of the package.
