The master tea makers will only select the tender shoots at the top of the tea tree by very choosy. By the way, they called these fresh buds - "one heart, two leaves", which means one sprout and two leaves.
Soft Stems & Unique Flavor
Due to the high altitude and superior natural environment, the branches (stems) of tea trees are soft and juicy. Therefore, Taiwan oolong tea has another alias, we called it “soft branch oolong”. After repeated attempts and countless trials, the stems preserved in the processing, not only will not release any bitter taste after brewing but also can highlight the charm of high mountain tea-an endless & soothing aftertaste.

Cold brewing: The ratio of tea-leaves to water is one to five. Enjoy it after the tea-leaves are fully stretched out. Better flavor after 12 hours of cold storage.

After brewing, the loose leaf tea is completely stretched out. The tight and slender tea leaves unfold to reveal their true features - "one heart, two leaves".
Only authentic Taiwan oolong tea will retain some stems, which is also one of the standards of Taiwan oolong tea.
Easy Brewing Yummy Tasting
1. First of all, prepare a teapot with a strainer.
2. Add 1 or 2 teaspoons of oolong tea loose leaf into a teapot.
3. Pour into little boiling water and then pour out immediately.
4. Pour into 8 fl. oz of water. (About 85-95°C/185-205°F)
5. Enjoy this taiwan milk oolong tea after waiting for 3-5 minutes.

I love the tea from Taiwan and the fact that I can order it from Amazon makes it so convenient. And so much more easier than travelling to Taiwan for. This green tea is amongst the best tasting that you can buy online. Highly recommended!

I love this tea! It is smooth and creamy tasting. Also brews 3 times, though third time, (hand squeezing extracts it best) is more astringent and less creamy, but still pleasing tea.

These tea leaves are flavored with strong fragrance! Go figure... who would do this to tea leaves? I threw the whole bag in the trash. $11 wasted. Don't buy if you are looking for original Taiwan Jinxuan tea leaves.

It's a kind of hybrid oolong that was engineered by the Taiwan's FDA. It's called milk tea, but the steeping aroma is more like hot buttered popcorn! I love it.

Love the flavor of this tea. This is a multiple reorder for me. This time the tea vacuum seal was not intact. Hopefully, when I try it I won’t notice a stall taste.

One of the best milk Oolong I had so far!I tried many and this one was the best I had, the scent is milky, sweet and very fragrant as for the taste, it's sweet and delicate, beautiful color and if well infused, you can reused the leafs once to twice !I had to command a second batch just in case Tearelae don't make it anymore. Just to give an idea, I already used half a bag and made at least 20 teas with!I highly recommend it!!!

Bought this to try after watching videos of Jessie's Tea House drinking the tea. I followed internet directions for brewing the tea, which was 1 tsp to 185 F degree water, and I added a wash. In this brewing method, the tea was really fragrant, but only had a slightly bitter and earthy flavor.Today I decided to brew the tea on a lower temperature. I did this because the white-ish color of the tea liquid and light flavor profile indicated to me that I might have more luck getting sweet notes out of it if I lowered the water temperature. Luckily I was right.Brewing Instructions:- water boiled to 160 F- 1 tsp tea leaves to 6-8 oz water- No wash (not needed for delicate teas unless you like the flavor with a wash.)- Steep covered for 5 minutesTea color: very light yellow, almost whiteScent: strong stone fruit with dried milk notesFlavor: watery top notes, strong sweet and slight acidity mid and end notes like stone fruit, astringent dry finishThis brewing method made a world's difference of flavor improvement with tons of sweetness (admittedly, not washing the leaves might have done a lot too). I like fruity tea flavors, so this is a pretty pleasant drink for me. I also like to maximize flavor and minimize bitterness and astringent end notes, so my preferred brewing method accents those qualities. I think this could also make for a really great iced tea in the summer if you steep it overnight in the fridge.Overall it's a really pleasant all day drinking tea. Like my other tea reviews, I do recommend playing with your brewing methods (particularly water temperatures) to get an optimal flavor for your palate.
