Just received items. Without using I can tell it’s gonna be great addition to my pickleball self practice. However this attachment piece , how do I use it?

I'm a professional pickleball instructor. I can get 10-12 balls into this holder. See in the first picture there's a mesh pouch that holds the balls. Then a zipper pouch behind it. I'll probably use that to hold some other, smaller, training aids. The buckle is well made but it could use a little more belt. I'm a 38" waist and needed to open it all the way to get around my waist. It also comes with a carabiner and a clamp (see pictures), Frankly, I'm not sure what that's for since there were no instructions. Seems to be a decent quality so hopefully it will hold up. Two pouches came in the package so I expect to get at least a year of training use out of them.
