I try multiple PC's with both Windows 10 and 11, and the device was not recognized at all in any of those, not even a single sound of the USB being detected

Installed and trained on 2 windows 11 machines. Went without a hitch. No instructions, just follow the prompts. The device recognizes my fingerprint quickly and accurately. Even better than my Pixel 8 pro.Highly recommended.

My old laptop had a built-in fingerprint reader. I really go used to logging in and carrying out other functions by just touching my finger to it. My new laptop did not have this feature, so I found this little device. Other than the fact it sticks out a little to the side of the laptop, it works great and I love it. Definitely recommend!

I have W11. It was recognized right away, no extra steps to download anything from anywhere. I did had some issues setting it up on Windows the first time. Unplugged, tried again. Recorded like 6 fingers, 3 on each hand. Works beautifully. Readability is top notch. Highly recommended it.

This fingerprint reader is the best Hello compatible biometric sensor I’ve ever used.Another reviewer suggested the USB extension shown, this also improves the regular use of the reader by keeping it handy on my desktop.My old fingerprint reader had gotten to the point that 3 out of 4 attempts failed to be recognized.I’ve had this a few weeks now and have had ZERO failed login attempts.Easy to setup with Windows Hello.

It worked the first time, was usb so no driver issues. Now I get login with a finger touch and no need to use passwords unless the device fails or the lens gets dirty. Downsides are lack of good documentation, and decreased security reported with some fingerprint readers. I have found this to be one of my favorite additions to my computer and wish I had bought it sooner. It resides on the bottom facing edge of my desk attached with Velcro. I even prefer this to facial recognition as it is not necessary to worry about snooping. Highly recommended, but be sure to set a pin in Windows Hello for backup and consider adding a second fingerprint for backup.

First, let's talk functionality and I'll make this brief. On a Windows 10+ PC, I was able to use this effortlessly with Windows Hello and integrated with BitWarden / any other password-needing app that supports Hello. The drivers that Windows installed worked right out of the box. It's no fuss, and I have a perfectly placed USB port on my Logitech (brand dropping like an influencer here .. jk) keyboard, which was especially nice since Logitech makes these USB2.0 ports as I'm sure some middle management executive calculated this would save them a few cents per unit -- anyways, so they're not useful for most other modern things that need speed.And now we get to the issue. I'm not sure if it's from the construction tolerances of the USB jack / reader or if it's just because it's built directly into the USB device, which can put some stress on the port as you interact with it overtime. After about 3 months, I noticed mine started to not unlock and had infrequent fails -- I used the fingerprint enrollment wizard to test and noticed it was dropping connection. No problem, Bobby BigBrain MacGyver is at it .. I cut a solo cup and slipped it underneath the bottom side (forcing the connector up), then slipped the fingerprint reader back in and bam .. issues resolved. So if you're having this occur after a bit of time, give that a try. Screenshots attached.

Doet het niet op Windows 10 en ook niet op W11. Gedownloade drivers (van de originele site) werken ook niet. Zonde van het geld en de moeite.

El vendedor no hizo la tramitacion del IVA y me ha tocado pagar 5,92€ al cartero. Por otra parte el lector funfiona bien y Windows 11 lo reconoce sin ncesidad de instalar ningun driver.
