gears set offers exceptional quality and functionality, especially considering its affordable price point. However, some pieces may not fit together seamlessly, which can occasionally impact the overall construction experience. Despite these minor fitting issues, the set remains highly effective for building intricate gear mechanisms

My older kids excitedly informed me that several of these pieces are no longer manufactured by other larger toymaker(s), *cough cough*, and they immediately got down to the business of constructing new gears and mechanisms that they hadn't been able to do with their existing sets.I'm not sure every one of them will be a perfect fit, but they seem close enough so far that the gearing works well and the kids' projects seem to work correctly.

This is a great set of technical pieces for building with! My son just got into the concept of making his building blocks able to move and these have been a great addition to his set!
