I order this replacement bulb for a Sharper Image lamp that I purchased about 25 years ago. The light was white/blue. This bulb is yellow/orange which is easier on my eyes. I'm happy!

After many years, our desk top lamp failed to light. This new bulb fit perfectly and lit immediately. The light emitted is softer than the original bulb, more like an incandescent and we prefer this hue.. Of course this is personal preference. Not enough time in use to determine longevity, but so far works perfectly. And, its dimmable.

The bulb was shipped quickly and well packaged. It works fine. I did not realize when I ordered it, though, that it emits a very yellow light. I wish that characteristic had been more obviously noted in the description.

It wasn't as bright as the original, but it still works good. At least you had it, local hardware said they discontinued carrying those kind of lights.
