I've used these a few times when there isn't enough depth in the rack. It is the perfect option to flush mount or parallel mount a server to the wall.

I kinda had the same issue as some others where the arms don't swing out to a perfect 90 degree angle which causes the alignment of screws and equipment to be a little odd. I used a square and a file to adjust the arms by folding down the arms and filing down the burrs on the back side where the two arms meet the back plate. Took a few min to file the touch points down to where both sides were at perfect 90 degree angles. I felt that was a better idea then trying to bend the arms into place and risking weakening the hinge pins. Other than that the rack is very well made and sturdy. I am just putting in a small residential switch and patch panel and I have no worries that it won't hold.

I wanted something small and compact to mount a 1u patch panel. It needed to mount right under my staircase since the home builder terminated the low voltage lines a bit too short. The vertical mount angled in perfectly and having the ability to fold the mounting brackets helped tremendously. The rack is made of thick metal which doesn't flex. The powder coating didn't scratch or damage while I tried to wedge the rack into place. The patch Panduit patch panel fit perfectly. I would highly recommend this for anyone with limited space but wants to professional mount their communication equipment

I ended up installing this under my tech bench to hold a 48 port switch used for setup and diagnostics. This has held the weight of the switch well. The only oddity was the folding sides, I prefer a single/welded piece. However, once installed I have not given it a second thought.

Seems sturdy. Used it to mount a 1U server that was too deep for my rack. Came with plenty of hardware and good instructions. It was well packaged, made out of thick metal and the finish not only looked good but is very durable.
