Great quality thumb screw. I wanted to replace the screw on a couple Harris bipods as using a case head or coin is a pain to put on/take off the bipod. Well worth it even if it chinesium

Seems to be a good quality thumbscrew, but it was not threaded as close to its base as the image shows. There is about 1/8" of unthreaded area at the base of the stud. Rather than return them, I decided to thread further down the shaft in order to get it to work, as I had a 10-24 die on hand. If you happen to be ordering these to replace the hex bolt on a Harris bipod, you might want to order a 1 1/4" length screw, or you'll be modifying it yourself. That said, it works great now.Image shows the new screw on the left and the one I threaded further (and touched up with cold blue) on the right.

These screw are very well made, they are hardened so for my application, taking them on and off all the time, they wear out very slower. The knob has also bigger diameters so you can apply more force to the tightening.

Te-co is one of the premier brands of clamping kits, studs, stepblocks and other metal machining setup hardware. This is no exception. Keep in mind that the tension should be between the threads and the tip (not the threads and the head) and it should just about last forever. I found this to be perfect for assembling a custom jig or clamp.

High quality. But doubt it is 12L14 -- I cut it with an angle grinder and it is incredibly hard material.
