Great buy on this Linear Power Supply. Well thought out design and simple and easy to use. A bit on the heavy side (to be expected as the linear supply has a large transformer) but has a carry handle on the top for transport. Well constructed.

This unit is used to power my Carrera slot track, custom street lights and timing system. It's rated at 10A and with my most power hungry cars on the track this unit rarely sees more than 3 amps. Being able to off the Load from the front panel is a great feature too. The Display is very easy to read, and the Voltage Adjustment knob is very easy to turn - it's takes no time to set the voltage from 10V to 12V, about 2 turns of the knob. I highly recommend this unit for slot car track or other hobbies.
