Unit arrived today. Have unboxed but have not removed the plastic wrapping. My first impression is that it looks like a good quality ladder. It came with two extra feet cushions, with nothing about why in the instructions. but it's nice to have an extra pair. The unit itself is fairly heavy, which is usually a good indicator of construction quality. Will update review once I get it unwrapped and try it out.

For starters this ladder is so heavy, not at all lightweight. It’s really big and bulky when it’s at its smallest. I was hoping I could use this to take into the woods for climbing up a tree to get to a tree stand. NOPE! This did not work at all for that. It extends to an impressive length but it doesn’t feel steady. There are no bracing hooks or feet. Not worth all the money paid for it so I returned it and they refunded me. Thanks Amazon!

I was very happy to get this as I have 12' vaulted ceilings and had no idea how I was going to change batteries in the smoke alarms. It seems very sturdy although you need to be sensible using it. I put it up easily and was glad I read reviews about watching your fingers when you lower it. I can store it easily because of the small size. Not too heavy for a senior to use. I'm glad I found it.
