This punch set is designed for punching holes in panels for various cam locks, outlet receptacles, and conduits on sheet metal, fiberglass, plastic, and more. The unique design uses an indexed mandrell for male-to-female die rotational alignment ensuring high quality punching repeatability.
This set requires the use of a hydraulic punch ram with a capacity of at least 9 tons.

I needed to ad some keyed switches to operator panels. Ordered this DD punch kit and the hydraulic knockout set. The punch kit comes in a nice metal storage box with lots of foam fitted packing. I didn't see any instructions, but it's pretty self explanatory if you have any experience with these kinds of tools. Got the DD punch and the hydraulic set for less than the cost of just the manual DD punch from the big Green brand. These feel and perform like high quality tools and I expect them to last for a long time. Very happy with this purchase.

I purchased a 10-ton Hydraulic Punch Driver Kit from Harbor Freight to use this Double-D Punch Die to cut Double -D holes for new tubular cam locks on a custom made aluminum trailer tongue box (aluminum thickness 1/8-inch). It punched precision cut holes with ease resulting in a professional job. I'm glad I spent the extra money to do the job right and not ruin the $600 box!

This is a very well made, solid punch. The case is great. You will need the hydraulics to use it. The punch and the hydraulics are very reasonably priced, and excellent quality, especially for the price.

Used to punch hole in an older riding mower deck to install deck wash kit. First time I used a punch set, and it worked well. I will be using it on my other decks in the Spring.
