Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Insta360 X4 with Lens Guard and Foam Wind Muffler for Noise Reduction

This is a nicely presented kit of accessories and protective glass screen for the Insta360 X4 that includes all of the usual cleaning and preparation tools for application. The domed lens protectors are very well packaged and protected. The detachable wind mufflers (3 complete sets are included) use a more refined attachment material than standard hook and loop resulting in more precise positioning of the removable foam parts.It should be noted that the X4 screen has a radius at the edges and the supplied flat protective screen is a little wider than the perfectly flat portion of the touch screen. This results in a little overhang at the edges where the protective glass can't follow the curvature. This is hardly noticeable in the end but it is helpful to know and expect this when centering the glass upon application.Although the product description highlights that the screen protector is tempered glass, I didn't see any explicit description of the material for lens protectors, which as it turns out are clear plastic. I half expected this anyway since tempered glass domes would be more difficult to produce. The lens protectors are very clear plastic (perhaps polycarbonate?) without any anti-reflective coatings, and they appear to be similar to the standard lens protectors supplied with the X4 if you bought one of the deluxe packages. Expect some internal reflections to pop up with the lens protectors in place, particularly in sunny conditions. But as long as you keep the plastic free of scratches the reflections will not diffuse too much, and in my opinion the protection outweighs the disadvantage of a few stray glints of light at certain angles.The wind noise mufflers are nicely cut and provide an easy means of detaching the foam muffs when needed. Unfortunately these may not be compatible with a metal cage if you use one to protect the camera. At least with the Neewer CNC-machined metal cage the stick-on pads and the foam muffs would need to be cut down to more of a square shape rather than the original rectangular shape to fit within the cutouts in the cage. And even if cut down to the correct size the cage needs to be sprung open a little to fit over the added thickness of the stick-on pad that attach permanently to the sides of the camera. With modification it all works, but the foam parts need to be removed if you want to slide the camera out of the cage.This is a nice kit that I down-rated by a star only because the description is not clear that the lens protectors are plastic, not glass.

I recently purchased an Insta360 X4 camera to give me another tool for creating content for our YouTube Channel, Well Travelled Life. One of my first purchases was this package of screen protectors, lens protector and wind muff for the X4. Frankly I wouldn't use any camera, phone or controller with a screen WITHOUT having a screen protector on it. These screen protectors were easy to install and provided that needed level of protection. The same with the dual lens protector. Having a wind muff to cut noise picked up by the X4's mics is also very helpful. Recommended.

Perfect to protect your Insta360: screen protector is a must have, and comes with the necessarily cleaning and prep supplies to ensure a clean installation. I'd have preferred if this came with two protectors instead of one, in case you make a mistake, but that's not grave.A well known problem with action cameras is wind noise and it's been said that foam baffles like these really improve the sound during action. Unlike adhesive ones, which are problematic, this one is a two-piece system with a velcro you attach to the camera, then you can put the baffle on or off. Happily, as you can see in the photos, the velcro on the camera DOES FIT underneath the Insta silicone protective cover, as do the lens guards. The foam baffles do not, you have to install them after removing the silicone cover. Here it DOES come with 3 pairs of adhesive and 3 pairs of foam baffles, excellent.Finally the lens covers are nearly identical to the Insta standard (not pro) lens covers, but every review says that standard provide better image quality than the pro due to their lower profile.A great starter kit for your X4!

I haven't tried the wind deflectors - that's a cool addition to the set! But the screen protector and lens protectors fit and have worked great.

This kit does exactly what it needs to. The tempered glass and lens guard fit my Insta360 X4 like they were made for it—which, you know, they were. But the real MVP here? The wind muffler. Cuts down the noise like a champ, so I don’t have to listen to a hurricane in my footage every time I move.Solid kit, does the job, and my X4 is happy. Four stars because perfection is rare, but this comes close.

I recently purchased this accessory kit for my Insta360 X4, and overall, I’m quite satisfied. The tempered glass screen protector fits perfectly and maintains the touch sensitivity of the screen. The lens guards provide solid protection against scratches and minor impacts. However, I did notice some glare in certain lighting conditions, which can affect image quality. The foam wind mufflers are effective in reducing wind noise during outdoor recordings. One suggestion for improvement would be to enhance the lens guards to minimize glare. Despite this minor issue, the kit offers comprehensive protection and is a valuable addition for any Insta360 X4 user.

Came in handy! I scratched the original lens protectors for my x4, and these came in clutch! Just as good as the OEM! The screen protector is awesome as well. Went on just fine without any bubbles or installation issues! Highly recommend!

Nice low profile screen protector. Can’t even tell it’s there.Touch screen works just as good with or without.I haven’t thrown at at anything to see exactly how well it holds up, so we’ll just have to assume it will be better than nothing!Wind muffs also work good too.Great little set.
