I am a pinball modding guy. Enhancing something to make it better. In this case, modifying a Arcade 1Up Virtual Pinball machine to get better sound. This powered HDMI Splitter - Sound Separator made that possible. Other devices would NOT pass the hdmi video/audio successfully to the arcade system.I tried multiple devices. However this system powered up, provided clean video and quality sound, allowing me to get a sound output from the hdmi, and add a subwoofer system to the arcade.

Really like the product, but when used with a Firestick audio would not pass through the line level (RCA Jacks). When the Firestick firsts starts, you hear its startup, but when playing a movie it does not work. I did get it to work with the computer output w/HDMI.The audio did play all the time via the HDMI, just not the line level.Correction: Firestick audio was set to automatic, changed to be specific audio type and it worked perfectly. Changed to 5 Stars.

This splitter has a switch for 1 or 2 output channels. I set it for two output channels, and the video goes to both of them just fine. The audio settings simply cannot see an audio device at all. One channel goes to the computer, the other to the tv with soundbar. When I switch to one channel, the lit output sends video, the other is disabled. No sound.So I tried running the hdmi cable directly from the computer to the tv, and video and audio were both good (but no video to the computer monitor). Briefly, then:computer->tv, audio is there.computer->splitter->tv, no audio with either 1 or 2 channels enabled.I had a rgbtek splitter that worked great, but it died and is no longer available. I guess I'll order half a dozen different splitters and return all that don't work.More information on this problem:1) Tried plugging in inputs (including power) and outputs in every possible order. No go.2) Tried plugging in ONLY the tv. TV sound shows up as selectable sound device, works fine without computer monitor output plugged in.3) Now plugged in monitor output. TV audio immediately disappears as a selectable device.4) Tried setting splitter for just 1 channel. Either channel alone works properly. Both channels together and both outputs plugged in, no sound device could be found.

Using this with my Roku player to split the HDMI out to two monitors. I have a 3 monitor for my work computer, home computers, and the Roku. When I use the Roku device, it's not always displayed on the same monitor, since I switch between using different combinations of single or dual monitors for the two computers. This means I can't use the audio out port from just one of the monitors. The audio out on this splitter let's me run the audio to a set of external 2.1 speakers. It works great and glad I purchased it.

This is the 3rd splitter I’ve owned, so far so good. I am using this splitter to send A signal to a projector and a soundbar using HDMI. The first first splitter I purchased (different brand) ran the audio and video okay but did not play well with my HDMI switcher which feeds a signal to it. My second splitter would have video but the audio would constantly go in and out. Both old splitters were cheaper (15-20$) I decided to spend a little more and it has been worth it. No issues at all with audio or video, also handles switching between various signal inputs. Happy with the purchase.

Was able to insert splitter between cable box and TV to gain an optical output in order to hook up Sennheiser Headphones which allowed me to use the ARC audio out from Samsung TV to a Sonos ARC soundbar. TV has an optical out plug and an ARC out plug but apparently TV will not output sound through both at the same time. Splitter solved the problem. Splitter has only been installed for a week so I cannot attest to it longevity or reliability but so far so good.

Product worked great for a little over a year. Had zero issues until it just died, which very well could have been my fault by accidentally plugging in a 12v power supply into this. It still looks and acts like it's working, but I've came to the realization that it doesn't after 5 days of troubleshooting in a variety of ways.Giving it 4 stars because there was no way to tell from the device that it had stopped working or that I had supplied it with too much power.

It worked as advertised but then it broke. Had it for about a year and the output started to cut off on both HDMI ports and also the RCA. Only did it after about two minutes of running and it only cut off for about 5 seconds then it work for about 45 seconds and repeat. It's connected to an Apple TV 4K, 2 LG TVs with high speed 3d HDMI cables, and a Bose radio via RCA. Had worked fine for about one year.Customer Service reached out to me and went beyond my expectations to replace the item with a new one. They remained engaged with us to ensure I was satisfied. I highly recommend Tendak.
