Fairly disappointed with these. The overall motion is generally smooth but every now and then a ball bearing is getting caught and creating friction. As my use case requires smooth action consistently I can not recommend these

Got these for a custom project I’m working on. I wanted 200mm long rails but the shipping was going to take too long, so I bought 250mm rails (prime shipping) and used a dremel to chop it to length.Firstly, I’m impressed by how accurate the dimensions in the website picture are compared to the real item I received. I used the dimensions they provided as a reference while designing my project, and was delighted that the specs were dead on when they arrived. (FYI the M2 threads at the top of the MGN7 carriage only go 2.5mm deep. I didn’t see this dimension listed in the drawing). The sliding action is smooth, rigid, and confident. No visible wobble detectable by eye.The reason for the 4 stars is because, while the linear rail and carriage are super dimensionally accurate, it seems there is variation to how “flat” the carriage is when it’s sitting on the linear rail. I bought several units to make sure it wasn’t a defect or my fault, and sure enough it’s a manufacturing issue. If you mount something on the carriage, you would expect it to be perfectly horizontal. However, there appears to be a sideways tilt of anywhere between 0.2 to 1.5 degrees depending on the unit. Took a few hours to realize it was not the rail nor the carriage nor me, but rather how the carriage slides onto the rail. So, be prepared to use shim stock or washers or something to compensate for this if it is relevant to you.

It seems a hit or miss with these linear railings but the Ten High that I just received are very smooth and have all bearing balls account for. There's no hesitation and when you hold it at an angle the linear block slides under its own weight. The chart is not correct. For B (distance between the holes) it states 28 but it is 20 so holes are 15mm spaced along the rail and 20mm from back to front.
