I fish with ordinary fly tackle and these especially in tandem are superb.They last through several fish and don’t unravel as others have done.

The body is a bit thick compared to more traditional ishigaki flies. But seems well tied. No loose ends, hackle, or random threads sticking out. Pretty good for a $6/10 deal.

This and a grave digger pattern are my go-to. If you are new to tenkara this and a grave digger will get you catching fish in no time. Yes these flies are over priced, but are great for beginners who don't want to buy a vice and tie there own flies. 1000% recommend this pattern and supplier.

Great all season brookie fly. Only downfall where I live a size 12 is too big for a lot of mountain streams so tied my own in 14s and 16s.

Nice clean fly. Has something important to me that I noticed right off: the eye is a clear, open shot --- not clogged with glue or obstructed by bristles and fly tying material that I have to trim/bore through at home before adding to my kit. You can take these to the field straight from the package.
