I don't know if this is a returned item to Amazon and they didn't inspect it closely, or if this is a quality control issue with LeBlanc/Bonade, but this ligature (which comes in a rigid plastic box) as "new" is bent and malformed. Also worth noting that is it has been lacquered gold, and it is not silver in color per the image on the Amazon listing.I wanted a standard two screw ligature... very classic look. Inverted ligatures are a bit too common for my tastes. And this one has the ridge beneath the screws to allow the Reed to vibrate.
