I got this as a backup for when my rooftop tent cover eventually tears. They all do eventually. I do have concerns about this cover staying on at highway speeds. It has a drawstring to cinch it over the tent. I would definitely recommend not using this without the straps that go over your tent cover, and if those are broken, then find some other method to strap this cover down. The cover itself seems decent but it's nowhere near the same quality as the original cover.

So not the best fit, to long on the sides and not deep enough for my tent. Would not cinch down well enough and blew away in the wind during the first night I used it.

I haven't got a tent yet, but now I've got a tent cover for when I do. A tent cover is sometimes called a tarp and that's what this is. A tarp to cover whatever you need to cover and keep the rain off. Works well as I tested it at home this weekend.
