My beloved whisk has met its end recently, and I bought this one to replace it. So far, it's been good. The whisks shouldn't break as long as you're gentle with it. I use it for matcha and hochija, and everything has been well mixed. No clumps. The whisk is also easy to clean. Just run it under warm water and set it aside to dry. I don't use it everyday so I can't say anything on the longevity of the product, but it seems to be holding up fine with use every few days.

If you make Matcha, you know that these whisks tend to wear out. The whisk has a normal lifespan for usefulness. It is good quality and I am a repeat customer for this particular whisk

When drinking hojicha or matcha, I used to break apart the powder with a spoon but you'll always find clumps at the bottom of the drink. This tool will help with that! You just whisk away the powder and then you will be able to enjoy a foamy tea. This was inexpensive but the bamboo is thin. It should be used gently and cleaned with water and soap to extend the lift of the tool. I just store it in the plastic container it comes in.

This is a much better quality chasen than the other ones I have tried from this website around the same price. The prongs are slightly more delicate than others since they are thinner due to it being 120-prongred, but the chasen does an excellent job in whisking matcha and produces much finer foam than other matcha whisks I have tried.It is worth noting this whisk is only suitable for usucha, (thin matcha, e.g, plain matcha drink, latte etc.) rather than a thick koicha-style paste matcha.Otherwise it is good!
