It was the first time I lifted a jeep and the install was very easy. Took me about 4 hours without any power tools. Highly recommend the Teraflex

Buen kit de elevación, fácil de instalar uno mismo.Mejoró la altura del jeep de acuerdo a lo que deseaba, muy recomendable para quien no desea una conversión extrema.

Wanted to level out the look without killing the ride, also wanted some lift but needed to still get under the barrier of the parking garage. Easy to install if you have the right tools. Watch the videos on YouTube to get familiar with the steps. 2016 JK, shown with winter set of tires (31) summers are (32’s)

I'll start by saying we're in the early stages of this Jeep build (2017 JKU Rubicon Recon); as my teenage daughter's skills and comfort increase so will the level of modifications to the Jeep. I've built 5 Jeeps previously and have used Teraflex components for all of them; I trust their quality above all others and appreciate the consideration they've taken to design, test, and support great products. This leveling kit increases the overall height of the Jeep by raising the front 2" and the rear 1" by placing spacers between the coil springs and their mounting buckets on the chassis. The intent of this deliberate difference in lift between the front and the rear is to "level" the Jeep, reducing the "nose low" factory stance. NOTE: after installation the Jeep is still about 1/4" taller in the rear with the factory soft top, and is exactly level with the factory hard top installed.Installation is extremely easy, and the supplied instructions are thorough, concise, and easy to follow. Start to finish installing this lift kit took me 2 hours and 15 minutes working alone with hand tools. The instructions detail which size wrenches and sockets you'll need, so be sure to read through them before starting the job in case there are any you don't have handy, but no special tools (spring compressors, etc.) are needed. You will need a small tube of "Red" thread locking compound for the front driveshaft flange bolts.Post installation experience: after the first day or two of driving, take a few minutes to check the tightness and torque of all suspension bolts involved in the install, especially the axle end of each track bar (those are the highest stress component of the suspension and tend to need a re-tourquing after the first couple hundred miles). With over 6,000 miles including a round trip from WI to FL and back, and two trail rides since the install, there have been no squeaks, rattles, or issues. On road the ride is just as smooth and predictable as ever so there was no appreciable difference even at interstate speeds. Off road the wheel travel increased enough to allow use of 285/75/17 tires (34" tall, 10.75" wide) with no clearance problems even at full articulation and full wheel turn. One thing to keep in mind; with the "leveling" of the overall vehicle stance, there is noticeably more hood buffering at highway speeds especially with a headwind (where the hood catches the wind and tries to "lift" against the hood retainers). This is a great entry level lift kit which will allow you to run a slightly larger tire, improve off road performance, and give your Jeep a more assertive appearance without breaking your bank or causing undesirable loss of ride comfort and handling.

The levelling kit was easy to instal. This adds approximately 2" on a two door Wrangler. It looks great and handles very well. I highly recommend.

Great lift for daily driving and light off roading.Installed it myself in about 4hrs and with taking a lunch (beer) break.Jeep looks much better and has a greater stance.Gained right at 2" in the front and almost 1.75" in the rear AND I'm running steel bumpers F&R.This kit is awesome!

Went on fairly easy. Get two jack stands one for each side. I had to put mine at the highest position and place them on 4x4's to get enough droop in the front to get the springs out. You will have to take the four bolts out that connects the front driveshaft. Not as complicated as it sounds. Lock it into 4wd or the shaft will spin when you try to loosen the bolts. Watch the Teraflex YouTube video. Take both wheels off at the same time. Don't try to do them one at a time. I used a floor jack under the pumpkin to lower and raise the suspension to get the spings out. Worth the money to get if you don't have one. I did all four in five hours in my driveway by myself. Set aside a whole day and take your time. Take pictures if it will help of the suspension before you take everything apart in case you forget how something goes back together. The only problem I encountered was the track bar hole would not line up to put the bolt back in. Even after I put the wheels back on and lowered it to the ground, as the video suggested. So I drove the vehicle forward a couple of feet and voila it lined up perfectly. Get a torque wrench and torque your shock and swaybar link bolts. It can double as a breaker bar for loosening the bolts as well. I did not have to realign the steering wheel as the video instructed. It was perfectly lined up afterwards. I can tell no noticeable feel in the way it handles good or bad. I did notice I had to step up a little higher to get in as well as a little higher vantage point from behind the steering wheel. I have 33's on there now but I know I could easily fit 35's with my Bushwacker flat panel fender flares already installed. Good luck. This is a good kit to level the Jeep out in my opinion.

For $155 this CAN'T be beat. This leveling kit, as they call it, is really a lift kit because it does more than simply raise your Jeep's front end to the level of the rear end. The over all increase is 1.5". I know that may not sound like much but bear in mind that to achieve that amount of lift your Jeep's front end has to be brought up 3.5". That's 2" to get it to the stock rear height and then another 1.5" to get it to the height of the lift you just installed in the rear. It looks great. The ride is unchanged and it allows you to put a slightly larger tire on and keep the stock rims if you want. If you go for aftermarket rims with the right backspacing this kit is all you need to run 35" tires. Since the Jeep is "technically" my wife's she wanted to stay with the OEM size tires but just run something much more aggressive and it is perfect for that. It just gives your Wrangler a whole new look....the way Jeep should be selling them in the first place. Instead of a nose down rake, the Jeeps sits perfect now with the just the right amount of lift to look tough. The install took about 3 hrs, I only used simple hand tools and only got one skinned knuckle. lol. The directions are great but for added perspective there are some good vids out there. There are other kits (Mammoth) you can buy but they cost a few bucks more and you don't get the sway bar links with them.
