Your cart is empty.The TeraFlex TJ shift link adapter kit will make shifting your 231 into all low range sectors simple. This adapter kit changes the trouble prone stock linkage which is not reliable due to independent body & drivetrain movement. The new bracket is bolted to the transmission & transfer case eliminating any negative movement. The heavy duty adapter kit is designed to provide problem free shifting even under extreme conditions. This kit includes an adjustable torque shaft rod for fine tuning the linkage to the transfer case lever.

Fit my 98 tj manual with no altercations to the plate like the manual states. Can be put on without dropping/ removing skid plate but you will hate yourself. As stated, it's harder to shift to 4x4 then OEM linkage, however I trust this kit not to break as easily in the future

This will not bolt right in, more then likely you will have to cut the thread-all to fit. I ordered this in April but did not try to install until July. I should have looked closer at it the thread-all on my linkage had about a half inch of damaged thread. I was able to get it usable by using a thread file but when i went to install realized really quickly it would have to be modified and would require a lot of time fine tuning and adjusting. Save yourself some time and headache order a cable shift kit I just did! Now i have a Teraflex paper weight for my desk.

Had to modify the upper assembly to make it shorter, after that It installed just fine. Got it fine tuned and it is hard to tell when I am in 4wd H. If it wasnt for that It would be 5 stars.

I ended up returning because you need to modify it to work with a manual trans and I didnt want the extra effort...BUT! I was curious as the picture shows the KIT and everyone else for the same price is NOT the kit....THIS IS THE FULL KIT, you get the $45 Teraflex Adjustable Transfer Case Torque Shaft Rod WITH IT.So it is a killer deal, better then anyone else!Just wanted to add this because I didnt see it from anyone else.

Useing this on a NV3550 with a LS swap in a jeep tj. Miner modification requiered but easy to install, although it is adversized for automatic trans install.

Bolted up with no modifications necessary to my 97 TJ 2.5 stick. Be sure to put a jack under the tailshaft of the transmission before dropping the skid plate so your heights stay the same and you can get it all adjusted. You do not want to have to try and adjust it when the skid is back on. It sucks.
