The TeraFlex JK Front Track Bar Bracket Gusset beefs up the track bar axle bracket to prevent 'egging out' of the track bar hole, which can quickly loosen causing critical suspension points to bend during high speed driving.

This is a nice heavy duty part…However1 of the holes was too small and with the hardened steel it took me about 20 min to drill out the hole.Other than that great product and down the trick

So like many jeep jk owners my axle side track bar mounting holes ovaled out. And allowed the axle to shift and clunk. Made for poor steering and handling. I thought about welding a washer to each side of the factory bracket, but then I thought someone has to make a bracket to fix this. After some searching I found this bracket. It works great. It comes with 2 bolt holes that line up with the extra 2 holes in the factory bracket so you can bolt it on to center it. It is stayed that you must weld it on after that. So I did. It's not going anywhere. The problem lies with the back side bolt hole, no brackets out there to fix that side. So I put the bolt through the hole and put a washer on the back side and welded the washer to the factory bracket as best as I could. Not much room to see back there. Mainly welded on the top and 1 side. But should be enough. If you're thinking of getting this to fix your track bar hole problem, do it. Well worth the money. One note. The hole for the track bar bolt is not 9/16, I think it's 14mm factory size. So I had to take a step bit and drill it to 9/16 because i had swapped the factory bolt for a 9/16 already. Also the 2 smaller line up holes I stepped up to 5/16 to make it a tighter fit to the factory holes.

To start with I got 2 of them as the holes in both sides of my axle where in bad shape. I reamed to 9/16 and installed 1 no each side of the axle. lined up with 1/4 and 9/16 bolts and welded in place. NOTE: if you do this, you will need 9/16 18 grade 8 by 3 1/2 in bolts. this is a good product and it worked well.
