I bought them to communicate with my modbus RS-485 connector on my solar inverter and I’ve had no problems at all using them with an ESP32-S3 in ESPHome for this application. There is really not much to write; it was easy to solder up, had no problems setting it up or using it so far and is all been really good. I like the leds which blink to show communication status.

These RS485 modules work great, no complaints. I am using them to be able to communicate with lights using the DMX protocol via a microcontroller. Had no issues running these off of 3.3v power. If anybody was wondering, on the RS485 side of these modules there are three pins: A+, B-, and then one in Chinese characters. Google Translate confirmed that those characters translate to Ground, and then of course A+ goes to the Data+, and B- to Data- on your RS485 device.

Mine wasn't exactly what the pic showed, but it is functional, and I've had one running for several days, seems to be solid.
