About this item

  • This listing includes 8 wheels which is enough for 2 skates. These wheels are perfect for outdoor skating. The 89a Durometer rating provides a long lasting, rock hard feel. 89A is the most popular outdoor durometer rating because they get to high speeds faster and last longer. The added longevity of a harder wheel gives you more bang for your buck.
  • The 5-Spoke core design disperses weight evenly while reducing the total weight of the wheel. This results in a wheel that is light, fast, strong, and balanced. Rotating your wheels often can make them last even longer.
  • These wheels utilize the standard size 608 bearing hub. Almost all standard skate bearings will fit in these wheels. There are virtually no compatibility issues with these wheels.
  • These wheels feature a rounded profile which offers maximum contact with the skating surface. This profile gives the user and easier turn, and accelerating/decelerating takes much less effort.
  • These wheels come in 3 different sizes; 72mm, 76mm, and 80mm. These are all the most common sizes for recreation inline skates and roller hockey skates. Make sure to measure your wheels to buy the proper configuration for you skates. This can be done easily with a measuring tape or caliper. Additionally, check your old wheels to see if a size is printed on them. This ensures you order the correct size.

These worked out just right for our Grandson that needed replacement wheels for his rollerblades. He says the fit just right and run smoothly.

Good wheels for the price. We go through online wheels very quickly. We were buying these exclusively, but they wore out as quickly as the softer indoor wheels, that are cheaper. So for my daughters purposes we just buy the cheaper wheel. If you are an avid outdoor skater, these would be sufficient.

I have been urban skating about 20-25 miles 5 days out of the week for the past 6 months or so on my blades and for the price, this doesn't break my bank. They are smooth, quick, and easy to control. I have even been in the rain with them and they grip quite nicely to concrete and asphalt. Just maintain your wheels as needed and you'll be surprised how far these will go. I have found 'two' sweet spots with these wheels which was the icing on the cake for me so I have been going through my old wheels as well. The only downside that I found as I have been purchasing them for a while, I would say one out of every 8 orders or so, I would get some wheels that were not the same size or they were two wide for my frame. Other than that, blading on a budget, this is worth it.

These are perfect for learning to skate outdoors, *specifically* for heavy riders (235+) like myself. Their quality is as you’d expect at their compared price point. Which just means they wear down quite efficiently, but if you decide to get back into skating the way I did, tear a set of these up learning to carve and stop instead of the [probably nicer] wheels that come on your blades. They work GREAT, on concrete. The speed is lacking on asphalt, but that’s because the ride becomes very bumpy. I’ve also used these wheels indoors on wood and they did fine there as well. Other reviews confirm that the fit for bearings is quite snug, but doable if you hold your tongue right and apply the correct amount of elbow grease to your effort. I put these on a pair of size 12 Rollerblade RB Cruiser skates. 80mm size fit perfect and look cherry on that boot/frame.

These are fantastic. They are very hard which means that you're gonna be feeling a bit more vibration through them than the stock 82A wheels are, but as a result they will last you significantly longer. These have lasted me 485 kilometres, and I have only had to rotate them *once* which is much better than I can say about the 82A wheels that my originals came with. Extremely happy with this purchase in general.Update: as of September 29th 2021, they have almost 1000km on them and are still in great shape. Extremely pleased.

Wish I would have made the switch from 82A to 89A sooner! WOW. Major difference between the two. These wheels are very durable, have great grip & still offer a smooth ride. I recreationally skate on a paved trail 4-7 times a week for a minimum of 1 hour a day. I am no professional or aggressive skater, but I've certainly put a lot of miles on these wheels and am blown away at the quality. Out of preference I rotate the wheels about once every other week, but will do more often if I notice more wear on some of the wheels. Will absolutely buy these again - The price is 100% worth the quality. I can see why these have great reviews! Also, love how sharp the white ones look!

I just got back from my first skate on these wheels. All I can say is wow! They grip and turn well but they still slide when pushed to the edge. They show minimal wear after a pretty intensive session. I'll most likely be buying these wheels again. Highly recommended.

I usually skate about 2.5-3 hours a day, 5-6 days a week. For 4-5 of those days, I'm skating in an asphalt parking lot. That's 10-15 hours of asphalt skating per week, plus 3 hours/week on polished cement. Needless to say, I go through wheels pretty fast. In fact, prior to finding these guys, I had to rotate/flip my wheels every other day, and I needed new wheels every 2 weeks.By contrast, these only need to be flipped/rotated once a week, and I only have to replace them about once a month. If I wanted to stretch it, I could probably make it 6 weeks before running into safety issues. Either way, that's 2-3 times the wheel life, relative to both my skates' stock wheels and the replacements I'd been using before. The best part is, these are actually about the same price. So, if you do a lot of skating on asphalt, I'd definitely say these wheels are worth it.Slipping doesn't come up as an issue unless I've forgotten to flip/rotate: If you let the internal angle of the wheel get too severe, sometimes there's just not enough wheel left to get grip, no matter how good the wheel itself is. Flip the wheel, and the slipping stops. I mean, I skate in the rain sometimes, and I still don't have an issue with it, really.
