The Mini Jacker allows mounting of long shaft motors to shorter shaft transom boats. The Mini-Jacker stands off transom 4". The engine mounting surface is 11-1/2" wide x 10" high and features a vertical offset of 3". The overall width of transom mounting flanges is 17".

This is the second time I have purchased a TH Mini-Jacker, and the second time I have been very happy with the product.Amazon is now selling a knock-off versions of this product advertised with the same model number but no branding on the product - There is no reason to buy the counterfeit item! The original TH Marine version is CHEAPER THAN THE KNOCK OFFS! Go with the known quality TH Marine product.

I bought the Mini Jacker to allow a kicker motor to clear the trim tabs on a C-Dory 22 Cruiser, since the Mini Jacker is recommended frequently on the c-brats forum. The jack plate itself is nice. I painted the plywood block but will build one out of starboard if it wears out. The product would get 5 stars with a more durable backing block.

Built really well,bolted on easily but the 3" lift was to much for me. After playing with some spacers I only needed 3/4" to 1" of lift and if you go lower than the 3" lift you can't get to the motor mounts.

This thing is Awesome. My 12’ sea nymph now has a 20 hp long shaft 4 stoke motor on it. The motor weighs i at just 100 lbs. I did push my mount up another 3 inches past the transom top. Two bolts on each side. Now I have a 12’ tin rocket. It’s scary fast. Mount Holds fine! Get one. Simple as that.

Bought this to lift a long shaft motor on a short transom aluminum boat. It is very sturdy and well designed. Think and measure before you drill and it is easy to install. We mounted it high and got about six inched of lift. The 14ft aluminum boat does about 20 mph now with a 9.9 Mercury four stroke.

Works great for a 1436 Jon Boat. You can raise or lower and adjust it by uninstalling it and re-bolting it. After installing, I realized that I could go up one more inch. Just drill out the marked holes on the mini-jacker and re-bolt to transom. The wood has no water protection so a couple of coats of outdoor polyurethane on each side of the wood should work fine. Also used clear silicon around the bolts and where the mini-jacker makes contact with the transom. Uses 6 bolts, not included. Very sturdy for a 85 lb 9.9 hp. Now the ventilation / cavitation plate is 1 inch above the keel.

Wow! This is the one thing you must have! Even though the transom on most aluminums is 15” the actual distance from clamp to ride plate is 18”. This bad boy fixes that problem fast, quick and in a hurry!It took me all of 20 minutes to install and that includes finding the 25/64 drill bit for the 6 3/8” SS bolts . I put mine flush with the top of the stern. Gave me exactly 3” of height and 4” of set back.With 675 pounds in my boat and a 9” pitch 3 blade stock Merc prop my Valco took 11 seconds to plane and would do just shy of 22 mph.With the plate and no other changes my boat now planes in 5 seconds and has a top speed of 26! The ride is smoother, steering is easier. Plus it looks really cool too.This baby was worth every penny, I truly am amazed at how much of a difference it made.If I could give it 6 stars I would!
