Deep engraving and deep color wood. The placard it think. And holds some weight to it. I love the dark oat color which contrasts against the white writing.

This office organizer is made from a solid piece of real wood, professionally stained and bearing a message of thanks and support for the tireless work of social workers. The image in the posting shows an ink pen and sticky note pad with the organizer. I assumed that this item came with those pieces, but they do not. If you're giving this as a gift, you might want to add a writing utensil and some post-its along with the organizer.

It is cute and full of kind words. Does not come with the post-it notes or the pencil.The downside is that it is smaller than I expected, so more a gift to give in addition to another gift. Too small to be on its own.

Having used this for awhile now, it does not fit standard post-its and it doesn't fit most pens. It's very disappointing. Looks just as pictured though
