Organize, store and travel with all your beads using The Beadsmith’s Bead Tube Tower. Available in 2 sizes, regular and mini, the Tower was made for jewelry designers. You can slide your bead tubes into the elastics and secure them in place. Made of thick cardboard and wrapped in a vinyl-like fabric, the tower secures with a Velcro closure. The tower can stand upright or lay flat, folding easily for storage. Measuring 8 x 16 inches when folded, the organizers stand up to display tubes or lay down when working on projects. Included is a plastic zippered pouch that can be used to store the tower with tubes. The standard size carrying case holds 138 small (2 to 3-inch tubes), 69 large (5 to 6-inch tubes), or an assortment of sizes. The mini size holds up to 60 small and 30 large, or a combination of both. The elastics hold all your plastic tubes securely in place, up to 9/16” in diameter. Although originally designed to for jewelry making, lot of hobbyists find the storage tower useful as well. Use it for diamond painting, nuts and bolts, buttons and other art projects. Stash this tube keeper with your looms, mats, trays and other beading and crafts supplies. Keep all your beads secure when you’re on-the-go when you bring your Tube Tower on a trip, to bead classes or just storage in a small space. Great for when you have a small area to be creative.

I thought i found the perfect solution to transport my beads from home to cottage on a regular basis. First, the tube's do not fit in most of the elastic bands. Very frustrating. I can't imagine removing and replacing the tubes on a regular basis. Second, they are sewn too close together so the tubes are all crammed. Third, you cannot close the case with tubes in it to fit back in the cheap thin plastic carrying case. But, it did come in fast. Thanks for the idea though. I'm going to make my own functional quality version.

I’m not going to take pics , the elastics are 100% too tight , so tight they crush and pop the caps free , even deep top caps , and that was with just 1 tube in , multiple tubes if you just want to stick them in empty to see what it’s like to see how disappointing the product truly is … you can’t lol 😂 it’s pretty sad ,Description doesn’t say wether or not it comes with tubes , or does not , obviously it’s not going to come with depicted beads , but I truly thought it would be coming with the tubes , I was wrong , so had to buy the sized tubes mentioned , to discover they don’t fit …. Who’s building this anyway , the “ lines” don’t even line up , when expanded and Velcro used as depicted to make the tower , it’s has so much slack in the bend zones , it just collapses … I’m not much to complainer , but you need to know this product is a waste of time, and unless they fix the actual product to match its concept , DONT BUY THIS

This is a great product! It allows you to see all of your seed beads at the same time and is easy to fold up and take where you need to without worrying about losing anything. I know others have said it isn't sturdy and the plastic bag is not well made but it costs $17.00. Seriously, people, the plastic bag is not going to last forever but then neither is the tower. If it lasts 6 months or a year, just buy another one. It works really well to display everything in one place and keeps all of your beads together for easy access. Until someone comes up with a better tool to keep your seed beads safe and visible, I will buy as many of these as I need to. I highly recommend this product to all beaders.

I was excited to get this since it seemed like a perfect way to store my beads and also be able to see them all without splaying them all out on the table. However, it’s really not what I expected.Here’s why:1. The elastic loops are *super* tight and that makes it difficult to get regular size tubes through. And I just have the regular ones from the bead store that are about 6 inches long but it’s so hard I only put them through one loop instead of both which makes them kind of floppy.2. It looked like it should be possible to close up the tower into sort of a binder situation with the beads on the inside. This is *completely* impossible. If you’re expecting a portable put-away sort of storage, this is not it. They give you a cheap clear plastic bag to put it in but that wasn’t what I was looking for. Basically to fold it you have to have the beads on the outside. That’s the nonsensical part.3. It’s made of super cheap, thin nylon over cardboard.

This is the second bead tower I have ordered. The first I ordered as a gift for a friend who loves seedbeads as much as i do. Then I had to order one for myself..its such a brilliant solution to wanting my seedbead all handy, organized and accessible yet ready to take with if I need to. I love this product! It's not the most heavy duty product and I'm sure it won't last forever as you really have to wriggle the last tubes in as it gets (naturally) tighter as it gets filled up..and I could see it pulling too hard on the vinyl backing the tubes are connected to and eventually tearing. However, I still love this so much I have ordered still one more! Total of 3! Yeah, did I mention I love seedbeads?

as a recent obssessive beader I was looking for something to store all my newly acquired beads in... this is perfect... I can see them all at a glance and it is easily portable when travelling with my beads... which I do... comes highly recommended.... thank you

I was looking for an item that was not only versatile, but handy to hold tubes of seed beads. I am new at beading, I recently purchased seed beads in individual small bags. I was looking for storage allowing me to view the bead colors, sizes and types (Cube, round, 8' 11' 15' etc.,) with ease. If you are new to beading viewing the sizes, matching the colors and hues becomes important to your final project. I needed to purchase an item that allows me to view a group of beads at the same time... The tower storage allows for it, not only was I able to see the beads without opening drawers or handling the beads you are able to view a number of beads at one time. The elastic band that hold the beads are made for the smaller tubes, but I was able to store larger tubes of beads by stretching the bands. The elastic bands have held up after months of use. Tubes do not slide, and can be removed out of the bands without trouble. The tubes stay in place, in when traveling. I hang the tower from a wall when I am beading. When not in use it is stored in the carrying case, and I have turned the tower flap so you can see beads while stored. The carrying case is very good quality plastic clear case, even with the larger tubes I store; there is no problem with closing the zipper of the carrying case. Whenever I travel my beads go with me without having to repack them, just store in the carrying case, and go. The convenient handle allows for easy carrying. Beadsmith Bead Tube Tower/portable bead tube storage system is an item I would purchase again.

I have the usual problems getting my seed beads organized. I have to say that this concept is the best so far for being able to access and see my collection. That said, the item itself could have better workmanship. Although I have no rips or tears, it is easy to guess that at some point in the future, a rip or tear in one or two of my loops holding my tubes is probably inevitable. There are several which are not tied down properly. Also, as another reviewer reported, the case is a half inch too small at the top which leads to a struggle containing a fully packed storage unit into its clear plastic container. However, with perseverance, it will go in. I am not sure how much I would actually use the case for my purposes...probably only occasionally for a bead retreat so this may not be much of a problem. As I said, it will fit if you take a couple of minutes to wrangle it in and are careful in the zipper area. The unit stays folded up on its own without the case. Another worry is that the cardboard inside may become weakened over time by the weight of the beads and bend the unit out of shape. However, no sign of this yet...just a worry.A wonderful feature is the velcro flap which when fastened enables your tower to stand up on your workbench or table. And it does stand up...very sturdy! This is pretty darned wonderful!The tower is not too big overall...just about right. It is about the same width as a piece of typing paper and only two inches longer than a piece of legal paper. Nicely compact and easy to move around! I can now see all of my seed beads, nicely organized into a compact place! Each unit holds a good amount of tubes, especially the small ones!Overall, I am quite pleased. Two are not enough. I need to order at least 2 more. One for my hex, triangles and 15/0. Another one for my bead mixes and 8/0s. I may have too many seed beads!
