The new designed FSS-754 VersaLock security cap is a quick and inexpensive way of safeguarding costly fuel and oil from theft, tampering and vandalism. It is designed for use on mobile fuel transfer tanks as well as above ground commercial gas and distillate tanks. The FSS-754 uses built in valves to equalize the pressure and vacuum. The FSS-754 is different from any other cap on the market today. It is designed with our patented "free-spinning" technology. When the cap is in the secure mode the cap will free spin making it virtually impossible to remove.

This is a great locking fuel cap. Don't get the FSS 722 model, leaks like a sieve. This one is tight and doesn't leak.

My original cap with my truck’s auxiliary fuel tank sloshed out of the top, an obvious defect. I took a chance and ordered this and could see right away a critical component was missing from my original. I have filled my aux tank to the max and driven it in a fashion to intentionally detect any defect and so far there is no leak and the cap locks and unlocks according to manufacturers specs.

Easy to install with the adapter unlock and screw in the adapter with the caponce tighten unlock cap and unscrew thread adapter will stay in then replace cap and lock all good

The product is a great idea, but the execution has been done poorly. I received the first one and installed per the directions; however, it would not work after locking it. Meaning it would not unlock no matter what I did.Called the company and they were very focused on making it right, they sent me replacement device the next day along with a tool to remove the first one. Installed the second one and it worked for about four refueling's then it to failed. It would tighten down but would not come off no matter what I did to get it off short of using the tool the company sent me on round one. If you use the tool it destroys the cap altogether.So out looking for something else.

The item works ok. The seller is the problem. NO communication. I bought 1. and 3 days later I was charged and shipped a 2ed. They would not explain why. Amazon had to step in and settle it in my favor. The cap tho. If you want screw it onto the tank. you have to screw it on 100% fully tight before you use the key to set it in the lock postion. If its not. It will act like its locked until you do a 360 turn of the cap and then it unlocks itself. Sense I was shipped 2 of these. I checked. And both have that issue. wish you could lock it on the fly. but you have to be careful you have it tightened all the way. I have had no issue with it spilling fuel out. And I overfill my tank. I'm a hauler. and want every gallon I can get. So I'm impressed that it keeps it all in.
