I have purchased several items from The Memory Company. Everything that comes from The Memory Company comes in a beat up faded box, so if you're buying this for a gift it looks like it's been hanging out in your house forever and you are just regifting at the last minute. Most of the products inside are ok, but make sure to run your fingers on the underside to check for sharp places that may scratch your table. Also, make sure to examine the product's clear gloss seal. It should be all over to prevent water from entering/discoloring the plate, but I often find cracks and small areas where the seal is just missing. If I ever give these products as gifts, I end up having to examine them, wash them, and then prepare some food item as part of the gift because the box is so embarrassing.

I ordered several of these for family at Christmas and I could have not been any happier when they arrived, they are very nice platters at a great price. Everyone loved them. I will be ordering more.

I ordered a platter with a small M and Colonel Reb.I received a platter with an oversized M and NO Colonel Reb.I wanted the platter that was advertised on Amazon.Tried to replace it and got the same product the 2nd time. Now Amazon won't allow a return.Stuck with a platter that I may take to the street and throw in the trash.Thanks for nothing.

I agree the shipping/packaging was fine. BUT: The whole reason why I purchased this item was because the picture showed Colonel Reb on it. Once received, it only has a blue M in place of Colonel Reb; no Colonel Reb. Very disappointed.

ONCE AGAIN I REC'D AN AMAZON PURCHASE QUICKLY AND ITEM WELL PKG'D.HOWEVER! THERE IS NO COLONEL REB ON MY ITEM. BIG "M" IS NOT WHAT I WANTED.IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE COLONEL REB DISH THEN DO NOT SHOW IT IN THE PIC.I AM NOT HAPPY BECAUSE NOW I HAVE TO TAKE THE TIME TO RETURN.

The actual plate is great for serving and parties and get-togethers or to just have with cookies on them whenever the kids get home from school. The problem is that the order is NOT a 2-pack. I only received one plate and I called them company and they said that they don't sell them in packs of two. So, after a bunch of calls between me and Amazon customer service, I was able to get two plates for the price of one. The actual product is great, but beware of the fact that you may not get two plates.
