I use and resuse this all over the house. Especially during the holidays. Great product. Other brands don't work

Holds things really solidly. Stuff shows as a white margin round the base. We need it in colors.

We put up over a dozen laminated 8.5x11" signs every week and take them down 3 hours later. This is the perfect amount of stickiness for them to stay put with just a penny size ball of plasti-tak. And it doesn't stay on the walls! So easy to work with!

I recently moved into a new apartment with HEAVILY textured walls. I tried everything to get decoctions on the walls (command hooks, different varieties of tape, etc.). This stuff is MAGICAL, as it solved my problems and actually stuck my decoction to the walls. Well worth the price, and cannot highly recommend enough.

As a military family growing up, Mom never let us put poster holes in the wall because we were always one phone call away from moving again. So Plasti-Tak was our go-to through the 80s and 90s.My fiancée recently inherited a home her grandfather built and her mother is very protective of. When I wanted to do a large wall art piece for her with a few hundred silk butterflies, Plasti-Tak was my go-to because I trusted it would work without affecting the paint. I'm glad to say that even 30 years later, Plasti-Tak still works great. In my home, I use it to hold the corners of hung artwork in place so they don't shift (like earthquake putty, but paint-friendly).It doesn't say so on the instructions any more, but it used to recommend pulling and kneeding it before use, almost like taffy. This seems to still work best. Do this several times until its warm and that will help it hold in place pretty much forever (but don't worry - it's very easy to remove intentionally).

I ordered this product because we live in earthquake territory and I was worried about all the items overhead from falling during a shake up. However, I found that using it made it very difficult to dust the mantle and shelves. So I stopped using it. That said, it did work very well to hold small items from moving. But heavier items aren't as secure. Therefore, it really depends on how the product is to be used. Another important point is that it truly does stay flexible and able to be reused.

My daughter wanted to put up a bunch of posters so with the hope of saving the walls I purchased Plasti-Tak. One of the posters is a thin/light weight paper and it’s holding fine. The other posters are made of a higher quality/heavy paper and none of those have stayed fully attached to the wall. Our wall texture is a perfect Mama Bear, not too rough and not too smooth. I assume if it were smoother this product would have worked better but as is I’ve had to resort to thumb tacks :-(
