This works so well for moving fluid from one spot to another. Very easy to start the siphon, and the large hose moves a lot of volume quickly. Can’t believe I didn’t find these earlier!

Wow, great siphon. Easy to use. Perfect for many uses, The side of the road, the lawn mower or the race track. Fits in your cars standard gas tank fill hole. and you get 2 of them. I put 1 in my wifes truck and the other in mine. New gas cans are heavy and leak like crazy. these siphons fix that problem. just make sure the gas can is higher than your cars gas tank fill hole. Place the hose in your cars gas tank fill hole and the brass end of the siphon in the gas can then just quickly stroke the brass end up and down and watch for the gas running through the hose then stop stroking and wait for the supply gas can to empty or remove the brass fitting side of the hose from the supply gas can when your done to stop the flow.

Good product and functions as described. I will have to see it's duribility over time to add to my review. It should be noted that this product is as simple as it gets short of getting a mouth full of fuel.

I have been trying to use the new, lousy, George Bush gas cans, that Bush signed into law! Those gas cans are terrible, because they removed the small vent, that used to be on the back of the older, much better gas cans! These new gas cans, cause so much gas to be spilled onto the ground! But with this Gasoline Siphon, all I do is place the brass ( or copper end, I'm not sure what it is made of ) into the gas can, and the other clear end of the hose, into the gas tank which I want to fill. I then simply move the brass end up and down a couple of times, and the gas starts to flow very fast into the tank! It fills very fast, and without having to hold a heavy, 5 gallon gas can, up in the air for at least 5 times longer than it takes for this siphon to fill the tank! I also did not spill a drop with this Gasoline Siphon, whereas with the Bush gas can, there was always much gas spillage, all over the ground, and even much of it spilled onto my hands as well! This is a truly super excellent Gasoline Siphon!

I discovered this product while watching a YouTube video by a fellow who "softroads" in a Subaru Forester. The idea behind this product was simply genius. You can imagine a scenario where you run out of gas, a Good Samaritan comes along to help and has gas in a can, but you have no way to easily get the gas from the can into your gas tank. Enter the Safety Siphon. It's so easy to use - and - requires no sucking on a rubber hose to get the siphon process working. Simply put the "donor" container slightly higher that the filler tank opening on the receiving end, insert the valve end of the Safety Siphon in the "donor" container and the opposite end in the "receiving" container, and jiggle the valve end up and down several times. You can watch the fluid enter the clear plastic tubing and literally watch it work it's way into the receiving container. Once the siphon starts working it will work until you want the process to stop. Easy Peasy! The Safety Siphon is now part of my vehicle's emergency kit - just in case. How can you not want to do the same? IMHO, this is a 5 Star product.

This worked exactly as expected! All you have to do is insert the copper end into your gas can, the plastic side into you car/gas tank, and move the copper end up and down until the suction starts. Very very easy and a great price for a two-in-one. I'd recommend searching on youtube for "using a safety siphon." There are plenty of helpful videos if you get stuck.I haven't been using it very long but I'll add an update if I find any downsides.

I've been breaking my back for years lugging a 5 gallon gas can over the back of my pontoon boat filling my gas tank. Also spilling gas in the lake. I had no idea that these simple hoses existed. Works better than advertised. Also despenses gas quicker than pouring. I bought four and gave some to friends! The price is awesome for what it does!
