I had other heat gloves but in certain spots, I felt the burning go right through the glove. I owned a pair of these years ago so I decided to get another pair now. They work great. I don't feel any burning. The size is perfect too. They are machine washable. I like the wrist cuff, it's snug enough to prevent slipping but not tight at all. The gloves come up a bit higher to prevent wrist from hitting against the oven. For me, it's a great value because I'm a baker and I need a good part of gloves. I don't use potholders. I find them clumsy and a towel is not thick enough and clumsy for me too. I highly recommend these.

These gloves are perfect for grabbing those hot trays from the oven! They fit great, they are thick to protect your hands and prevent you from burning yourself. Believe me I’ve tried a bunch of different pot holders and nothing compares to the grip of these! I have gotten them for all of my family!

I have had many of these over the years. THEY ARE GREAT!Mind you, I do not have a large hand.But, for me, they are perfect.Don't get them wet, though, or you will burn your hand when they are wet.The only thing I would ask of OveGlove is that they make the wrist bands longer.They end at the bend in your hand.For bbqs, they are too short. Therefore, we have specialty bbq oven mitts for safety.But, for everyday oven use, I love these mitts. They now come two to a package which is much more economical.

We have always used the ove gloves for baking. Great quality and long lasting. Our previous set lasted over 20 years.

I have used the Ove-Glove for more than 20 years and highly recommend it. I like its ability to keep my hand from burning whether I'm pulling out a pot from the oven or adjusting a grate on the grill. If it begins to look rather gnarly, then just throw it in the washer. It retains its heat protection and grip even after several washings. Try it out! You will not be disappointed.

I buy a set annually for my sons. They have fireplaces, bbq's and fire pits. They are long lasting and really work. Burn resistant, fit securely.

I ordered this pack of two Ove Gloves to include with a gift, so I haven't completely opened the package but it appears to be the genuine Ove Glove. I recently ordered the pack of one glove to go with the one I've used for several years, and that glove looks genuine with the same label and hanging loop inside the wrist as my old one. Both of these were sold by Joseph Enterprises (the original manufacturer of Ove Gloves) and shipped by Amazon so they should be genuine.The pack of two is a much better value than the pack of one. Each glove is the same on both sides so any of them can be worn on either hand. They are roomy but not so much that it is a problem for my small hands.They work like a potholder but give you a much better grip and protect the back of your hand and wrist. While the package doesn't say this, mine had an insert that said these are machine washable, no bleach or softener, and air dry. I've washed my old one several times without any problem.Amazon shipped another package of only one instead of two the first time I ordered this 2-pack, so I had to return it for a refund and reorder. This isn't the fault of the seller or glove; someone just made a mistake in the amazon warehouse. The packages are almost identical except one says "one glove" and the other says "two gloves" and has a big "2" at the top. I like my Ove Gloves and hope the recipient will find them useful too.

A great product that allows you to use all of your fingers when handling hot pots and pans. Only thing I wish is if they came in different sizes for those with smaller hands. Overall they work great!

I have had these before. In fact, I still have the original one after eight years. These are NOT the genuine article. They do not grip correctly at the silicon interface of the thumb. I assume they are a Chinese knockoff.
