These kept getting stuck in the bore. Every one is too tight in all of my rifles. I ruined a rifle and rod with these. Terrible product. Use the Napier products instead, they work. Threw all of these away after the costly damage they have done. They simply do not fit properly over a standard jag.

Too thick to fit on a jag for a Dewey cleaning rod, but work well with a normal eye type cleaning rod tip or Otis wire type cleaner. Good value, I was tired of cutting patches from t-shirts.

When I got my gun I also purchased an Otis cleaning kit, knowing that what comes with a gun usually isn't worth the materials it's made from. Inside the Otis were 2" and 3" cleaning patches. They work, don't get me wrong, but that 1/4" difference makes a good bit of difference! With the 3" patches, if I wasn't careful, I'd bunch up the patch the wrong way and it'd get stuck or wouldn't even go down the barrel. With the 2.75" patches, it was much harder to make that mistake and I wound up with a much quicker and easier barrel cleaning. They are also very absorbent which I have found to be beneficial for maintenance because I don't want a small pond of oil ANYWHERE on my firearm and when I'm done cleaning it with these, the oiling is micro level - exactly how I want it. Clean and not overly oily.

I bought these for cleaning our Glocks with and they work great. We've used both Hoppe's 9 and Slip2000 725 solvents with them and they both work well with the patches. They come packaged in a big resealable plastic bag and are a great price for the number of patches you get. Works great and ordering these online is so much easier than a 45 minute drive to the closest shop that carries patches!

Decent quality cleaning pads - they're soft and, contrary to a couple of other reviews, feel like cotton rather than paper towels. I'll continue to use all of them but will definitely be getting some bigger pads when I need to get some more. The small size makes them difficult to use in larger areas (for example, the interior of the slide of my weapon) or to use with your fingers. However, they're excellent for smaller areas or when used in conjunction with cleaning picks. If you don't have cleaning supplies already, I'd recommend these for cleaning tight spots and a different product - perhaps larger square or round patches - for cleaning larger areas of your weapon.

These are the best gun cleaning patches I have ever seen. Most gun cleaning patches are made of thin regular cotton rags... much like a little piece of a white T-shirt.They are frayed on the ends, very thin, and not as absorbent as they ideally should be for gun-cleaning purposes. In contrast to that... these are "100% cotton flannel" so that have more of a "Jersey Knit" kind of feel to them. They are more absorbent because they are very slightly "fuzzy", though they do not pill or fray... they keep their integrity. This provides a bit more bulk to fill the gun barrel, so it picks up more debris on each pass through, and it will alsoholds more cleaner or oil, if you are using it for that purpose. You may find that you don't need quite as big a pieceof these flannel patches, as you might otherwise need when using the cheaper, thinner, "cotton T-shirt piece" varietyof gun cleaning patch material. The significant difference in quality between these flannel patches, and typical cotton patches is immediatelynoticed when you pick up the package and squeeze a few patches with your hands, or touch the surface ofthese patches. Once you have used these flannel patches... I don't think you will ever want to go back to themore common thin cotton variety of gun cleaning patches.Unless you are a professional gunsmith that goes through dozens of patches every day; the modest price differencebetween these top-quality flannel patches, and the cheaper thin cotton patches, really just amounts to pocket change.I also noticed that these patches are made in the USA. Very nice.
