Firstly, the instructions are garbage. Says on the instructions that there is a video on their website showing how to put it together but that video doesn’t exist. Emailed the company and they said they haven’t made the video…. Then why are you advertising that you have in your instructions!!!Not only that, but the quality was low. See the picture of the screw and the wood pedestal mount. The threads that the screw goes into on the pedestal ripped out after I only slightly tightened it. Had to drill my own hole after, which resulted in a less than ideal fit / alignment.Had to fool around with this thing for 3 hours to get it looking correct.If you look at the pictures of the back of the mount, where it attaches to a wall, you have to attach the screw hook yourself. See an example of another mount I have where the screw hook is drilled into the wood itself. This results in the mount sitting flush with the wall. With this one, it’s not able to do that, which is annoying.Overall, to pay 50 bucks for 3 pieces of wood that are poorly constructed and have terrible assembly instructions is an absolute joke. I would’ve returned it but I’m just tired of messing with this mount. It’s fine to sit on the wall, but when I move and have to transport it, I’m afraid it will likely fall apart.DONT BUY

Used this mount for a whitetail dear skull. Instructions were very descriptive and assembly was simple. As implied in the instructions, the finish scratches very easily. I would definitely use this product again in the future and maybe add a coat or two of polyurethane to the mounting surface.

This was my first European mount that I've done myself. It looks sharp! The directions were easy to follow, and it took me about 15 minutes start to finish. You'll need a drill to drill a hole through the wood and through the skull. Other than that, you're only a few turns of a phillips screwdriver away from having your European deer mount on the wall or rotated 180 degrees and placed on a tabletop. Nice looking and sturdy wood. Well worth the price :) I'll be a return customer!

I ordered 3 oak plaques to mount my european mounts on and I was completely satisfied with the products. They were delivered on time and were good quality. All hardware was there and instructions were easy to follow. My package was a bit damaged on arrival but that is no fault of the shipper. No damage to products though.
