Daughter wears size 2 in street shoes, but this didn't seem to match at all.

These run very small. My daughter could not even get her foot in them. The strap was also hard for her to use

Child wears a size 2 youth street shoe and a size 2.5 was too small- she squeezed her foot in but it was painful. I saw reviews for running small but didn’t realize I had to go up one whole size.Shoe quality was great though so I will reorder same shoe.

These character shoes were great for my daughters recital. We needed these last minute and they came in a day. This is why I shop Amazon lol. The smell some have mentioned was not that bad to me and I feel like it went away after a few stage performances, or maybe just masked by smelly dancer feet? Who knows. Yes they do run small but I feel like all character shoes do!! My daughter worked them in pretty quick and they fit a bit better now but I would go up atleast 1 to 1 and 1/2 sizes from your natural shoe size.

My daughter is a size 13-13.5 I ordered a 1.5 and they fit perfectly. These are great for folklorico!

These shoes are just what was needed to start ballet folklorico. My daughter is trying ballet folklorico for the first time so I didn't want to spend $100 or more for shoes only to find out she doesn't like it or she out grows her shoes in less than a year. These were the right price and fit great.
