I wanted to like these so much, the material felt decent and light and they looked great on, but after an hour walking around the Renaissance Fair these pants completely split open along the crotch seam. Only reason I was able to stay after that was because they were roomy enough in the crotch/rear that you couldn't tell they were torn if I was standing. That's what I get for expecting quality ordering from Amazon, lesson learned. I returned these as being defective (maybe you'll have better luck than me). I ordered an XL since I wear a woman's size 14 pants and it fit great at first, for sizing reference

By the photo they were my second choice but my wife insisted we get a back up style. How do women know these things? Despite my protests we got these as the back up. Good thing we did. The number one choice ended up looking like..hmmmm....I don't even know how to explain the odd poofy layers. So with the ren fair a day away I tried these and they fit, felt OK and looked OK. They ended up being pretty cool with the rest of the outfit. My wife agreed. Imagine that. Just like she said. Lol.

Product is exactly like picture, they are a thinner loose fit material just like pajamas. I have 44 inch hips 32 inseam and got the x large. They are pretty big on me and I coulda def bought a large easy. All in all happy with purchase and will alter to fit what I need them for.

Thin material is perfect for hot Louisiana and TX festivals. Just ordered 2nd pair. 1st pair lasted for many wears (yrs). I suggest HANG DRY to avoid shrinkage. Husband is 5'11", solid 210lb. He wears XL in these. Lots of room. Arrrgh!

Ordered XXL, normal waist size 36 inch. Fits like in the picture, nice and baggy and surprisingly airy. Trousers are properly laced at the sides as well which is nice.

Opened these for a pirate party this weekend. Though of material acceptable quality, the cloth is light enough that the grommets and cord induce sag. The sizing was also way off and I'd recommend going a size smaller.

Perfect! Sigh of relief! My son has superb fashion sense, but struggles to find clothes which match his taste. He has a classically African body, so he needs room in the seat and thighs, but not in the waist. The only drawback is the dye isn't set properly. The first time he wore them, they stained his underpants blue. So, I'll wash them and hope the dye sets better.
