Die Bluse fällt klein aus, ich hatte vorsorglich eine Konfektionsgröße größer geordert und lag damit wie vermutet richtig. XL paßt für meine Maße 176cm/ 80kg.Die vom Verkäufer angegebene Materialeigenschaft „Leinen“ ist leider nur halb richtig: Tatsächlich besteht die Bluse aus einem Baumwoll-Leinen-Rayon (Kunstfaser)-Mix. Die enthaltene Pflegeanleitung „wash in cold water“ ist etwas dürftig. Die Nähte sind sauber und ordentlich gearbeitet, ich konnte keine losen Fadenenden entdecken.Die nicht authentische Brusttasche werde ich entfernen sowie die billig wirkenden und farblich nicht passenden Holzknöpfe durch eine edlere Variante ersetzen.Ärgerlich: Vor und während meines Kaufs war nicht ersichtlich, daß der Artikel in Indien gefertigt und von dort mit FedEx verschickt wird. Das konnte ich erst nach Erhalt der Sendungsnummer über FedEx ermitteln und birgt die Gefahr, daß neben den Versandkosten weitere Ausgaben für Zoll und Einfuhrumsatzsteuer bei Import anfallen.Ware ist soweit o.k., noch einmal bestellen würde ich aber nicht - ähnliche Retro-Bekleidung findet man mit etwas Suchen auch von deutschen Herstellern/ Händlern zu gleichem oder gar besserem Preis und in besserer Qualität.

So first off, these are GREAT shirts for any sort of Steampunk/Victorian/Gothic/Renaissance outfit you have in mind. They're comfortable and light, feel good and do not itch on bare skin, with great movement and a great look (when you get your right size, keep reading). I bought two, the black and off-white. Off-white is a bit see-through, so consider what you are wearing beneath the shirt and/or how cold its going to be. I would recommend a white wifebeater underneath or something like that just in case.Now, as for the fitting, here lies a problem. I have no idea who decided these shirt sizes, but all of them are just FAR too big. As can be seen in the stock photo, the arms sleeves are supposed to be puffy but not overly so. You shouldn't look like you have two parachutes in up your sleeves. I'm 6'3", thin but broad-shouldered, so I normally wear XL. But the XL version of this shirt was like wearing a cape, with sleeves that went down far past my thumbs. So I returned it and got L. Much better fit, but still just too puffy and baggy for my tastes. I was about to give up when I tried one more time with Medium (that's 2 sizes below what I normally wear). And here the fit was perfect. Puffy but not too puffy arms, and a good secure fit around the rest of my body and neck while still feeling and looking loose.So in short, these are very good shirts and I highly recommend them, but do STRONGLY consider your body type when deciding what size to get. If you're a bean pole like me, you will definitely want a size or even two lower than what you're used to getting. If you got a gut and/or thick arms, then your regular size might still fit, but do strongly considering trying a size lower than normal first.

These shirts are fantastic. BUT... they are large. I got a 2x I usually would have gotten xl if I knew it was American-sized. I could have gotten a large and still had plenty of room. They need to be loose. But, get your size and trust. The fabric is wonderful. Great value for the shirt and surprisingly fast shipping provided it came from India.

Buy this shirt a size smaller than you really need. It is very large with extremely long sleeves. The neck is also very large. But is is beautiful!

I loved how this shirt looked, yet I realized is too thin and "delicate'', I highly reccomend to wear this with a thin white shirt below and/or a vest so this shirt will pop up and look great. Handle it with extreme care. It was completely comfortable to wear and fit just right!!

Great look, lighting-fast shipping (bought & shipped Aug. 31, arrived USPS Sept. 1). Neck sizes mfr. listed in Q&A are screwy (6"? really?) - maybe they're supposed to be diameters, when every mfr. I know uses circumferences. Needed a 15.5" neck, medium shirt barely fits neck (body fit is totally fine, though cuffs are pretty snug too). Also, my neck must be short because the band collar barely fits (starts to scrunch up a little). Buttons seem like wood w/cork backing; I'm unsure, and concerned about their durability. Glad shirt is machine washable and will update after a while based on how the shirt lasts and fits after multiple washings.

I bought a size larger than i would for waistcoats from this company, as i like my shirts to be roomy and i have a thick neck. The XXL fits just as i wanted it to on my 48" chest,The quality is good, and everything about the shirt is spot on.
