Had bought my second i9 13900kf knowing it has potential. But it ran so hot that even if i breathe, it used to hit 100C and core speed used to get throttled at 253W motherboard power limit. I've used the setup this way for over 2 years. I have an MSI MAG coreliquid C360 360mm AIO. Looks cool but it wasn't able to tame the beast. I had even raised a ticket with MSI to see if i'm doing something wrong. I just accepted the fact and moved on.Until..... I saw this on utube and thought i'll give it a shot... and OMG it actually solved the heating problem!!! It dropped like 16-20C. Now, even at 300W max load it doesn't reach 100C, it's insane how such a simple piece of hardware solved such a long term issue. Same mobo, same AIO, same everything else.. It solved random BSOD issue, Valorant crashing issue and my ADATA 64GB DDR4 now reaches 3600MHz with all 4 DIMMs installed.... Amazing!!!! Who would have thought. It worked like magic for me!!!If you are planning to get this for your intel CPU i 100% recommend it. I've heard the AMD CPUs have a thicker IHS so this frame may not make that much of a diff. If ur seeing high temps then u might as well try this out. Super easy to install too.Mind you, you still need to do your homework and make sure everything else is fine in your setup. Make sure the mobo settings like power limit, current limit, load line calibration, etc are all good. Make sure u r using a good thermal paste, i'm using Arctic MX-6. Make sure your pump and fans are working. One of my mobo's had a pump fan header issue. Thought the AIO was bad but turned out the pump fan header was doing its job. If there is no bending issue on ur CPU IHS, this probably won't do much. But there's nothing to lose, either nothing happens or you lose a few degrees C. So, go for it coz it can only get better and it hardly costs anything compared to your other options like upgrading AIO.

This co tactical frame is an excellent value. It reduces the temperature of my overclocked i9-12900k by 10⁰C to 25⁰C depending on the circumstances and workload. For gaming, my 12900k used to run around 60⁰C-70⁰C on the package and now it runs 40⁰C-50⁰C. This gives me a lot more thermal headroom to see if I can push my overclock higher and keep stability.Installation was very quick and easy if yourr an experienced PC builder. If you've never opened up your PC before, you should still be able to handle the installation. GamersNexus has an excellent YouTube video on these products including installation.100% worth the money!

I had heard that this bracket helps reduce cpu temps by over 5 degrees which doesn’t sound like much but considering I’m running a 14900k I’d say that it’s well worth it, it also fits perfectly which reduces the odds of the cpu bending over time to basically zero. It doesn’t come with the needed screws but that’s because you use the ones on the bracket that already comes with your motherboard. Overall I would say this can definitely help your computer’s performance due to the lower temperatures it helps create and how it reduces the risk of cpu bending over time. For the price it’s definitely worth it and I recommend it to anyone using a 12, 13, and 14th gen Intel cpu in their build.

The Thermalright LGA1700-BCF anti-bending fastener was exactly what I needed to resolve contact issues with my Noctua cooler. Installation was easy, and it fit perfectly without leaving marks or damaging my CPU or motherboard. Whether or not this has any thermal benefits remains to be seen, but that wasn't the intent of my purchase. This fastener improved the contact between the cooler and the CPU, ensuring even pressure and better thermal performance. It’s a simple and effective solution, especially for those experiencing uneven contact on their CPUs.For the price, it’s an excellent investment to enhance cooling and prevent potential bending issues. Highly recommend this for anyone facing similar problems!

I purchased this just to test it out as I thought it was a gimick. However it worked better then expected. I uninstalled it from my main board and tried it on a board I thought was broken (had a cpu indicator light despite fine cpu), and it booted to my surprise. I had accepted losing $150 on a broken motherboard, but this handy tool stopped me from bending my motherboard and I was able to post a system purely due to it. Great buy.

Don’t over tighten the screws. Just barely finger tighten. No grunting involved here. Works, looks nice, and my cooler fits snug on over it. Read many reviews on the temp difference supposedly reduced by 5degrees, and prevents warping compared to the eom rat trap that was originally on the mobo.

Ürün harika işini yapıyor. Tereddüt etmiştim ama en az 8-10 derece daha az ısınıyor işlemci. Kesinlikle stok işlemci tutucudan daha iyi. Tavsiye ederim.

For reference, please search for GamerNexus youtube findings on "Intel bending" heat spreader issue. Basically, due to the standard motherboard CPU retention mechanisms for Intel, the CPU could be "bent" concave slightly such that contact to your CPU cooler, whether air cooled or water cooled, is not optimal. Everything will work fine but you may get higher temps because of this. To rectify this, it was recommended to use a CPU frame like this one. There's a nice more expensive German made brand from Thermal Grizzly. I went with this one because of two things: 1) it's cheaper 2) the install was easier as it doesn't "float" like the Thermal Grizzly. For install, it's kinda fool proof. You re-use the screws from the motherboard's ILM. And you simply screw it down, catty-corner, until the screws stop. The Thermal Grizzly requires precise number of turns, etc. and you could overtighten and bend CPU pins, etc. For this Thermalright, it was pretty dang EASY. BTW, GamerNexus reviewed both Thermal Grizzly and Thermalright CPU frames. Both recommended and he had a hard time finding any cons with this one.As for temps?? Keep in mind I'm air cooled (Noctura DH-15S), not water cooled. I have this on an Intel 13900KF (no overclocking, actually undervolted) - at idle I'm easily at 29-30 C for all P-cores. I've read others with stock setup easily at 38-42 C!! Literally, for the price paid for this it's nearly a dollar per degree C improvement. SO WORTH IT!!! My temps beat some people's water cooled setup. It's crazy. One of the BEST investments you can make if you have an Intel 12th gen, 13th gen, and later gen processor!!!! HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend it!!! You will not regret it!
