  • COMPATIBLE MODEL: Thermocouple replacement for Quadrafire 800, 1000, 1100i Insert, 1200 Freestanding, 1200i Insert. Part Number: 812-0210.
  • PACKAGE INCLUDED: 34 inches long thermocouple *1. It is recommended that this thermocouple for pellet stove be used with the old Quadra-Fire ceramic cover.
  • NOTE: Make sure the power is disconnected. 812-0210 thermocouple must be wired correctly, and at the thermocouple connection, the wires must be connected to the ports corresponding to the red and yellow wires.
  • SITUATION NOTE: The function of the thermocouple for QuadraFire is to sense the temperature in the fire canister; if the thermocouple is broken, no voltage will be generated. If your furnace stalls after the initial start cycle, the thermocouple will most likely need to be inspected/replaced.

HOW TO FIND YOUR MAKE & MODEL:

While looking at the front of the stove / grill

- Pellet Stoves: Typically located inside the hopper lid. Freestanding stoves may have this info on the rear of the unit, or left / right side door.

- Wood Stoves: Located on the rear of the stove, or on the front in the bottom left of the unit.

- Gas Stoves: Located on the upper left back panel of the unit.

- Coal Stoves: Located on the lower right side or back of the unit.

- Grills & Smokers: Typically located inside the hopper lid or on the back of the unit.

Keep In Mind: The W/N number you see on most units is the emissions testing facility information. This info can not be used to identify your model.

WARNING SIGNS OF A FAULTY THERMOCOUPLE:

Over time, the wires of the thermocouple may deteriorate from exposure to heat. Common stove operation symptoms that indicate a thermocouple issue include:

- Blinking yellow light on the control box (some models may not have this feature)

- Red call light on the junction box is on, but the fire in the firepot goes out

- Stove stops feeding pellets after running for about 18 minutes
