I'm allergic to nickel (which is almost anything metal & shiny) so these are amazing for me. I do wish the sizing was more specific (ie: an actual measurement of the diameter or circumference of your finger = small, medium, large size) & the same sizes across the different brands.BUT totally happy with the product!

Likes: The colors of these thimbles are nice. They are sturdy and well made.Dislikes: These did not fit my fingers well, and they do not have an option for adjustment. I had to wrap some scrap fabric around my finger to make the larger, purple one fit snugly. The small blue one did not fit at all. There is no room for any length of fingernails inside the thimble, so it becomes a bit uncomfortable after wearing it for an extended time. The needle end is a hard plastic. I don't typically like these, however, the holes are very deep, so the needles don't slip. The plastic edges of the finger "cage" are a bit sharp and can get uncomfortable while using. These would work in a pinch or for short projects such as fast clothing repairs or sewing fast craft items. However, for extended use, such as hand-quilting, I will stick to sized thimbles.

The think I hate about thimbles is that they're so big!! I liked the variety of the sizes and how they actually fit. Would get them again.

These thimbles are in theory an improvement over the old school metal ones, but they aren't great quality and the fit isn't particularly comfortable.

I’ve been working on cross stitch a lot lately, and the pointer finger of my right hand was getting callused from the number of times I used it to push the back-end of the needle through the fabric. I needed a thimble, but I pretty much hate every design I had seen… until this one. This one looks relatively breathable, and yet there’s a thick sturdy case for the part that’s most likely to get poked. I ordered it. It arrived quickly. Using it was an adjustment since I wasn’t used to not feeling where the needle was coming out, but once I got familiar with it, I forgot it was on my finger outright until I was done for the day and saw it still on my finger.A family member who also does cross stitch asked if she could try it out and then insisted I send her the link for the thimble’s listing so she could get one too.I will say that I didn’t need the Large size. The small one works very well on my small adult hands, and I’m not sure what to do with the extra thimble. Regardless, the small one worked great for me and my family.

Got these for my son who's in high school. They were teaching hand stitching in a design class, and now he's making a battle vest. He was getting his thumbs eaten up, so I grabbed these! They work great!

I only use a thimble when sewing through thick layers of fabric and batting or through durable material like a tent seam. I found the big thimble fit my thumb, if I first trimmed my nail, otherwise it wouldn't seat comfortably (although I did have a long nail at the time). The smaller thimble was a bit snug but serviceable. I really like the design of these thimbles and the soft, flexible material as opposed to metal thimbles which can be uncomfortable and which fall off too easily.
