This Turkish Beach Towel is soft, cool, and comfortable. I've not used it for the beach or the pool, but for my bed. As a woman of a certain age I'm really struggling with night sweats. This Turkish Beach Towel is great to grab in the middle of the night to lay on top of to separate my sweaty skin from my damp sheets - it's cool and comfortable and great to get back to sleep quickly. I can't speak to how it would do on the beach, but I'd have no doubts trying it.

the perfect beach towel. I've always typically used oversized beach towels that were thick and soft. It made for a really tough time lugging too much stuff around. This completely solves the problem of carrying too much stuff. First, it folds up very, very small. I think this is its biggest selling point. 4 of these is about the size of one of my previous towels. Secondly, if you're laying this down on sand, when you pick it up just a quick shake and all the sand is off the towel. Lastly, it absorbs more than enough water to dry yourself down. There really is no downside to this towel unless you're against the design. I think the color is a very nice beach color that stands out but to each their own. Would highly recommend this towel if you're struggling for space when going to the beach.

I think these are great for vacations and for the beach. This rolls up small in my hand which is nice when traveling. Even the backside of this towel is cute and the stitching has been done well. Time will tell how this will hold up, but overall I'm excited about this towel. The Turkish towel does dry yourself off, it just has a different texture than regular towels and takes a little extra time getting the water off. I like the large size which will be perfect for laying on a beach without having any sand stick to it afterwards.

My honey loves everything with a turtle motif, and this towel does not disappoint, with a large turtle pattern in a subdued blue and white colors scheme. I got this to use on the back bench seat of our boat. We needed something large enough to accommodate the wet swimmers/water skiers when they climb back on the boat, and this towel will be perfect for that.The towel can also be used at the beach and for picnics to lay out on a grassy area. Many versatile uses for this towel due to its size and material. I love that it is easy to fold or roll up into a compact size for storing, or fitting into a carry bag for transport. It is such a nice towel overall.

I'm buying a little early for the beach, living as I do in a VERY cold climate. So, I can't check this towel out down by the water's edge in the sand. But, I can say that this towel has a lot going for it:• It's really a gorgeous design in a very lovely aquamarine blue.• It's large...long and wide.• It's thin, with a nice woven texture which makes it very versatile.• The design is not a printed design. It's woven into the towel so that the design is on both sides with one side being dark and the other being the light reverse.It can be tied around the body in a variety of ways and actually look good. It can be used as a table covering or wall hanging. It could even be used it as a small blanket. In the photo, I laid the towel over my dining room table which is about 5 ft. x 3 ft.On the other hand:• I'm personally not a fringe lover so for me, that's not a selling feature. But, it's also not a deal breaker.• If your preference is for a big, soft fluffy bath towel, this isn't for you.

This comes in a vacuum sealed plastic package (shipping label was adhered directly to this and no other outsize packaging, so if you plan to use as a gift, good luck removing the shipping label)When I opened it I did not detect any odors or chemical smells. It says this has been pre-washed, so presumably pre-shrunk?It is soft to the touch, with a tight weave and seems well made.When I unfolded it, (my cat enjoyed the fringe) I really love the turtle pattern woven into the blanket. It is a teal color (more blue than green) but it looks blue in the photos.Absorbancy seems fine- this isn't a terry-style towel, but I tested it on my dampened arm, and it blotted up the water off my arm quickly and completely. It also seems to dry quickly.Also, I believe this would keep the sand off and make a nice beach blanket... am unable to test this as am in Minnesota and it's snowing at the moment, but look forward to using it on our local beaches. :)This would make a nice wall hanging too. I love the tropical design.The only reason I am giving 4 stars is that I thought it would be larger, judging from the pictures on the advert. I am apparently taller/larger than the women depicted on there, so I will not have as much "real estate" upon which to lay out.Still I am pleased with the quality and price and would recommend for the beach lovers in your life.
