Made with Ultra ThinLine over a high quality quilted cotton base pad, creating a contoured wither profile and spine free channel. This design allows the Ultra ThinLine to lay on either side of the spine so that it is always in the right place. Delivering the maximum in shock absorbancy in the minimum thickness. Saddle Fitting Shims sold separately.

Saddle fittings shims are available in two thicknesses, ThinLine Plus (1/4 inch) and Ultra ThinLine (thinner, 3/16")
Front, Bridging, and Rear shims allow you to adjust your saddle fit while horses are growing or if you are trying to develop a better topline.
A full booster shim is also available to create ThinLine Plus thickness in your Cotton Trifecta pad. The Ultra ThinLine Cotton Pad may be used, without shims, with a custom fit saddle. The addition of the Ultra ThinLine pad will not alter your custom saddle fit. It will only provide you with the comfort and impact protection you need. The booster shim will add nearly 1/4 inch to your Cotton Trifecta pad and is recommended for very young horses or horses in high impact sports.

This ultrathinline pad is amazing. I use it with my Ghost treeless saddle on top of a Griffin Nuumed pro pad and it works a treat. The thinline pad takes shims which I need for my cob just behind the shoulder. The pad is excellent quality, he is superbly comfortable in it, and it has withstood a few impressive spooks - no saddle slippage at all which I do worry about with treeless. All in all I would highly recommend. Well worth the money.

The thinline products are great. However the item I received was not the item pictured hence the two stars. Big disappointment as I thought I was getting a good deal. I spent a lot of time dealing with the issues and now I have nothing to show for it. Very unpleasant experience but not thinline's fault.
