Purchased for use with food-grade CO2 in winemaking. After installing the second CO2 cartridge, it leaked so quickly that I could not get any use out of the cartridge. You get what you pay for; you are better off investing in a better-constructed solution.

For now, the object works as supposed. The durability remains to be tested, for something that should not be supposed to be used often* (fortunately). (+) The protector furnished with is ideal for 16g cartridge and the lever manipulation can be adjusted with a hexagonal key.> (REAL) “ECOLOGICAL” POINT OF VIEW (for beginners and...) :(For those concerned about an "additional" release of CO2 into the atmosphere)Note that (excluding the high price of refills, in 2023);The use of the CO2 inflator "cannot become fashion". It can ONLY* be used in an emergency (under all reserve, for the race or other).* Compressed CO2 being more compact than oxygen, it tends to come out more quickly through the tire valve (which will gradually deflate, until reinflate it by AIR for more long-lasting).* You might even think that the valve is broken (leaking) after use (and the cold of the pressurized CO2), but you will see that it is only normal and that it is only the CO2 escapes.ADVICES:> In case of tube change, it is certainly better to inflate as much as possible with a mini AIR pump, and "only finish" with the CO2 inflator.> Provide purchase of a solid valve cap (metal etc., available on the site) that is more airtight (with insulating rubber inside), to delay deflation.QUALITY-PRICE ratio; Good ! The price was one of the lowest in offer of 2023.Wish you a good ride!

Very compact tire inflator uses threaded CO2 cartridges that are also compact for carrying around. Snug fit to valve with easy turn off to avoid over inflation. Great price and fast delivery...online shopping best.

It is a very useful tool that you need to have it for every ride.

The Co2 inflator connects to both schrader and presta valves with no adapter needed. Out of habit (every other pump I currently have needs an adapter), I installed a schrader to presta adapter and tested it that way.It is very small, light, easy to use and reasonably priced. The included foam sleeve prevented my hand from getting cold at all. The exposed bottom got frosted over quickly. The tool itself got cold but not freezing cold.I intentionally wanted one with a handle to control the release of Co2. I've read reviews of ones with buttons and wanted to stay away from those. It did a good jog of puncturing the Co2 cartridge (see picture).Even though the lever was in the "off" position I could hear some Co2 escaping. I had to really crank the lever hard to stop the slight leak. The angled white material (I assume nylon) on the lever side just seats onto the black aluminum alloy and blocks a hole from the puncture pin. I think the black washer is just for friction as it doesn't come anywhere near the pin hole that provides the Co2 from the cartridge.I did my test using 700 x 38C road tires with a recommended psi of 50-85. I used a 16g Co2 cartridge.I deflated my tire and once I screwed it on, I slightly turned the lever counter-clockwise to gradually release the Co2 but the tire rose pretty quickly. Once the tire felt rigid, I shut off the valve to check the tire pressure. My gauge only goes up to 150 psi and it was pegged at max.Removing the tool I heard no leakage from it so as long as you close it tightly you could keep the remaining Co2 for the remainder of your ride.I deflated the tire again and used the same used Co2 cartridge and got almost 25psi out of it into the tire. Removing the adapter and opening the lever I heard a slight escape of Co2 for a second or two.Unlike using a regular hand pump, It filled up my tire very quickly and without effort which is exactly what you want when you have a flat tire on the side of the road or in the mountains.
