This is good thread… I’ve been using it for about a week now and it’s not breaking or otherwise slowing my runs down. The colors are good and this set provides subtle shades for when you need just a touch more red in your orange, or green in your blue. The price per 5000m spool was pretty good. Not bargain Basement, but not Madeira either. I’ll admit I was pretty upset when I got the case in the mail. When I ordered the kit, I expected the spools to come organized by set. The 160 count option is all three sets that Threadart carries. If you see the accompanying photo, that’s how they came. A complete mess. I’ve calmed down since then and my focus now is on the quality of embroidery. Stitch outs are pretty fantastic.. This thread shines literally. It’s smooth and threads through the machine and needles well. One thing to be wary of… The second photo shows a different brand spool, but the thread net over the spool is the point. This thread is very slippery. So even sitting on the machine it will slowly unravel on you. I’m not able to keep them in the net while in use. But that’s not a big deal. In the end this very affordable, wide color array of quality thread is a great purchase.
