The hall effect sticks are great. The "mechanical" ABXY buttons have very little travel, not great feedback, feel very mushy for a mechanical switch and after a little more than 2 months of use, my A button has failed and I had to go back to my old controller. I wonder if those buttons are really mechanical. The controller also is plugged in to my PC, and doesn't turn on unless I unplug it and replug it and hit the Xbox button multiple times.

The quality control is amazing, and the materials feel great, the grip takes some getting used to, but once you get used to it it feels nicer than the standard Xbox controller grip

This is the Thrustmaster HEART controller which was priced at $100 when ordered. Long story short, my only real complaint is this is a $100 wired controller. If it was $60 and wireless, this would be a real gem. I do enjoy using this controller and the performance is top notch.Performance wise, this controller feels great to use. The buttons, triggers, bumpers, dpad and sticks all feel excellent. The construction and finish are well polished and the hand feel is of good quality. The black and white color scheme looks great and the one strip of green or blue lighting is tasteful bling. The quality of the mechanical buttons is very high with excellent feel when in use. Same goes for the hall effect sticks. They have minimal dead zones and just feel so good. The triggers are fast and responsive, but have no dampening to deaden noise or smooth out the pull. The rear pro triggers are positioned about a cm from the rounded grips. The positioning is pretty good, but for smaller hands, these triggers may be difficult to use.Comfort wise the shape and plastic finish are decent. The shape is similar to an oem xbox controller, as is the plastic finish on the majority of the body. The grip area has a shallow cut pattern offering extra grip without compromising comfort.A braided 2m cable of high quality is included. It is USB type A to C and has a ferrite core inline. The cable feels robust while still having good flexibility. Having to use a cable feels a bit dated, but the latency (or more accurately, lack of it) advantages can't be denied. Never having to worry about the battery being charged is nice in a way as well. The 3.5mm audio jack is a nice feature. A mic mute button is located near the headset plug on the underside of the controller.Overall, this is a great controller. The mechanical switches in the D pad, ABXY buttons, bumpers and pro buttons are among the best I have used. The sticks are also premium, just excellent to use. While expensive, using hall effect sensors and mechanical switches (while excluding a battery) should lead to great longevity over time. In the end, I guess this controller is a trade off of creature comforts and cost for performance and longevity.

I'm just gonna give my Pros and Cons about this controller. Anything I don't mention is probably because I don't care about or just don't use it enough to review it. I mainly play Rocket League and diagonals are important to me.Pros-ABXY Face buttons (It has a mechanical short press to it, it's great!)Mini Sticks (Great accuracy + support for square deadzone)Overall style of controller (The black and white scheme. Looks great!)Cons-Triggers (Feel cheap, uncomfortable, and just a bad design especially when I transition my finger from the bumper. the trigger just pokes out. Also the trigger has a sharp edge that makes it uncomfortable.)Polling rate (I wished it was 1khz, while having low latency on both sticks and buttons)Price (It feels cheap, holding hollow plastic, and just bad ergonomics for this price point)RGB (Its there, but cmon, I need more color options or customizations. Like they need to make a setting in their app for this)This controller is not for me for my playstyle, so I'll be returning it.

Controllers feel good, response time seem good I use it play ESO PC. Love that you can use headphones/mic on it.Updste - Bought Nov 2024 (only few months old) having frustrating issue whereby it disconnects after using it for few hours then constantly disconnects and turns off.Update again now just disconnects constantly and scarily as healer in eso dungeon disconnects and my healing stopped. It is wired.. Tried different suggestions online and also updated driver (win 11 ), things getting worse instead of better.Update again - found the issue faulty wire which we replaced that with one we had at house and now controller is working… bad for something 3 months old.
