This rudder system is very well built and constructed of metal. It adds a real life feel to the flight simulator as a rudder system is crucial when flying planes. It does require some adjustments within MSFS 2024 to get the inputs correct. If you're investing in a flight simulator this is a good as it gets.

I've had these for almost a month. I love the adjustable spring tension, especially when I go from Planes, to jets, to helos. Exceptional quality ! As far as people saying they slide too much, if the hardwood floors are dusty and the longer they sit, they will slide. You can clean the floor and the rubber pads on the bottom and they will regain their holding power. (I just took 1/2" x 2" velcro and put a strip under the front and back, and it has not slipped a bit, better than putting screws in your floor) Any residue left from the velcro adhesive can easily be removed with isopropyl alcohol. I find these so much more realistic than the "slider style" rudder peddles. Once you put these in front of you and recalibrate you will be very happy you spent the money. I was reluctant because of the cost, but I have the Hotas Warthog flight stick and throttles, this just completes that set-up with the same quality. The only negative thing, which is just my opinion" is the connector wire and location. I think they could have come up with something different, but I have not had any problems with it either. My opinion, if you have the extra money, go for it, you will not regret it.

I have been using aviation sims for many years for training as a real-world pilot. I've never had rudders, as I thought they would all be plastic and unrealistic. The Thrustmast TPR pedals are as real as you can get. They feel exactly like the real Bonanza and Cirrus that I fly. Worth every penny!!

I am an actual pilot, with thousands of hours in general aviation and military aircraft. In flying computer simulators, these rudder pedals are very faithful in all respects. You are able to angle the pedals in the proper vertical alignment one finds on actual aircraft, and upon doing so, you will experience highly realistic rudder and braking actions. In aviation, there is a term called "tops and bottoms" when it comes to rudder actions. The tops being the brakes and the bottoms being the actual rudder. These rudder pedals allow one to properly replicate that reality. You can place the toes of your feet at the bottom of the pedals and manipulate the rudder. Or, you can place your toes on the tops of the rudder pedals and apply braking.I found differential braking to be smooth and highly accurate, something that using cheaper pedals I just never was satisfied with as there was constant over and under braking actions. With these pedals, that does not happen. When you apply the brakes smoothly, you get smooth braking. These pedals are well worth the money.

Delivered super fast. I purchased "used like new" and saved a hundred bucks. They were, as described, brand new. This is it guys! I was a pilot in a previous life and i never found rudder pedals that would remotely resemble what i'm used to. Til now. These are all metal high quality pedals. There is a lot of travel so i can now make minute adjustment which is important if you want to fly choppers. The pendulum system is very smooth and adjustment for tension is easy peasy, a couple springs that you move up or down or you remove one or both. They are basically plug and play (in DCS at least) These pedals are simply amazing and they make a world of difference. Worth every penny. Highly recommend!

The best way to describe the Thrustmaster TPR pedals is to say that the $400 pedals are probably twice as good as the $200 pedals but the $800 pedals are ten time better than the $200 pedals. I hesitated 2 years to puchase these but I do not regret it at all. If you are serious about your flight simulator don't buy anything else, it would be a waste. They are infinitely adjustable for any flying position in any type of aircraft and they feel (and look) like they came out of a the real thing. Unlike my previous pedals, these are built to last a very long time plus they have a resale value. I highly recommend these.

I had an under $200 set of rudder pedals; they were ok but I could not use them with any degree of finesse, they were just not up to the job. I was very frustrated with poor ground handling and takeoff rolls (in M$ Flight Simulator, BTW). I got these, set them up, tried them for a while, tweaked the setup some, and have been very pleased with their performance. There are still some aircraft in the sim that are very twitchy on the ground (you try to correct a tiny amount, and the aircraft jumps like you kicked the rudder halfway to the floor - not realistic) - I attribute that to the mediocre ground model of FS plus some aircraft vendors have not spent the time to deal with that in their model. The TPR is pretty heavy, but I still find it necessary to have something to anchor them so I can push all the way to the floor if I need to. Most of the time not needed, but no fun when you need a lot of rudder and the pedals slide a bit. So I'd plan on having something to hold them very firmly in place (which is what I recommend for any rudder pedals, not just these). No, I'm not a big muscle guy, I'm not using THAT much force. Overall the action on the TPR is VERY smoooooth. I really like the range of adjustability of the pedal positions so you can keep the brakes out of the way when you're just flying. Also very nice to be able to set the pressure / force needed to actuate the pedals; you have springs that have a very wide range of adjustment. I prefer mine just a bit still, just enough so I can tell when the pedals are centered. These have contributed substantially to my enjoyment and immersion in the simulator; I'd never want to go back to my old pedals. So like I said - expensive, but worth it. Recommended.

Super impressed by the accuracy and (heavy so they don’t move around) quality build. Night and day difference compared to my previous rudder pedals. Plug and go in DCS. I fly mostly helicopters so removed both tension springs but ymmv and you can tune the centering force as desired with them. Not cheap but buy once, cry once. And you will be happy!! 👍👍

THE THRUSTMASTER TRP RUDDER PEDALS IS A SOLID-DESIGNED (All-Metal) RUDDER PEDALS WHICH HAS A SMOOTH AND VERY ACCURATE RUDDER SIMULATION AS ADVERTISED...NOW MY FLIGHT/SPACE SIMULATOR SYSTEM SET-UP IS NOW COMPLETE!!!! Note: I purchased the ThrustMaster Warthog Hotas (Joystick and Throttle System) which is also an all-metal design, months ago, now with the purchase of the ThrustMaster TRP Rudder Peddles, that completes my “Big Boy” Flight/Space simulator system!!!….Note: I must also add that this ThrustMaster Warthog Hotas Flight is really accurate replica of the actual famous A-10 Warthog Air Force aircraft flight stick system…The reason why I would know that is because I am a United States Air Force Vietnam Veteran who was trained as an “Aircraft Maintenance Specialist” on the B-52 Bomber and the KC-135 air refueling aircraft with extensive knowledge of the famous A-10 Warthog (Tank Killer). This flight system is a little “Pricy/expensive but if you want to play with “BIG BOYS” to me who is a 73-year-old Vietnam War Veteran/Flight Simmer, it is worth every penny!!!.. THIS THRUSTMASTER WARTHOG HOTAS FLIGHT SYSTEM IS SERIOUS….

If this cost I also added a motorcycle steering damper to the rudder axis and that makes it even better!https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07P31SYQV

The change in input accuracy alone is worth the price of admission. I can now use the rudder pedals to trim the aircraft when actually changing the trim is pointless due to fast changes in the flight regime such as during take off and landing.I put both the tension springs on down at the bottom giving the most tension on the travel. I would like to try even stiffer springs but haven't researched if there are even any out there. The combo I'm using give a nice, solid, smooth travel with no stickiness anywhere unlike the plastic pedals I've used up until now.Another huge plus, for me at least, is the quiet operation. Until now every set of pedals I've had (CH Products and Saitek/Logitech) have been plastic with the resultant squeaking/grinding/clacking becoming more and more annoying. I had to accept the noise but I certainly didn't have to like it! Now, all is much, much better.Provided these last more than a couple years if these break beyond repair I'll buy them again.
