Fits big but has an elastic band on inner rim that helps it hold on to your dome. Band is soft and comfortable does not bother in any way. Hat is stiff and has a few cracks or straw shaped tips sticking out at top. Outer rim is plenty big to cover sun and provide shade. Breaths ok, I was able to feel a little air as wind blew outside. Good for decoration, costumes, outdoor wear and around the house or farm. Best of all is the price for $23 bucks you can beat it. I do believe you can steam it if needed for proper shaping. Mine came nicely shaped with no real issues just a few straw (or paper) ends sticking out, but a little trim took care of it. Sits comfortably and securely on my head. Tag inside reads 100% paper.

It's sturdy, beautiful, and stylish. I'm looking for another one in Black, and with all the moving around that I had to do, it didn;t even get messed up or bent up, and that made this Cowboy very happy. Definitely sturdy enough for casual wear like a party. I opted to take the strings out and the hat still sat securely on my head.

This hat came crushedIt's lightweight which was ok for me. Luckily another review said to re shape it with steam so I tried that it worked enough that I could wear it in time

The hat was too high. Like a billboard. If your head is larger, you’re good. Also, the “charm” was off center on the hat.

Like the 1st(?) person to review this hat mine came all scrunched up. Having worn hats since I was 19 I have been using steam to shape and reshape my hats for 51 years. This one came out great. Vary comfortable and looks to good to wear as a knock around/fish'n/chores hat but since my old hat is fall'n apart reckon this'n gonna have to work. May have to order another one.
