Like that you have option to install even after installing railing! Fits 4”x4” post covers perfectly, I have had some that was to big and didn’t fit right. But these are perfect!

Amazon indicated that these were a frequently returned item and I can see why. I ordered a couple of more than I needed figuring that I would probably break one, which I did. The pins on the backside of each of the half pieces are too big around. I finally used a small screwdriver and wallowed out the holes that the pins go in and then the half pieces fit together a little easier. I put a drop of crazy glue in the holes on the back of the piece where the pins insert and when I pressed them together, they bonded. I would not purchase these again and if I hadn't broken one, I would have returned the whole lot. Be prepared for some frustration. I will admit that they do look nice, but the fit leaves something to be desired.

Are used these devices at the bottom of lamps installed on my fence, they were the perfect size for the bases that came with the labs. They have many uses, anything basically that you want to cover up or make it look a little better.
